Seraphina Winters

As the dancing and celebration was going on, Seraphina sat in a quiet corner. She could sense that this unity was about to be put to test. She remembered how she had come to know about her powers and her involvement in the prophecy.

Seraphina had sat at the edge of the stream. She was barely 25, an Omega of the DarkMoon pack. She always loved coming to the stream. There was a kind of peace it gave her. It was very cold, almost snowing but she didn't mind. She just sat there listening. The water had always spoken to her. Today it whispered warnings, names, places, and secrets. It whispered something terrifying.

“You have been chosen to protect the child,” it said.

“The child who will end the war and save what’s left of all the clans. The child must live, or all will fall.”

Seraphina blinked, as she was surprised to hear this. She didn't know what child it spoke of. She wasn’t even high-ranking or respected. She was an Omega. Lowest rank in her pack. Constantly overlooked. And yet the

It let out a screech that was disturbing to the ears.“These must have been born out of magic, or someone is just messing with what he doesn't understand,” he said, low and grim. “There are too many for us to fight.”The Moon Witch, the one they’d hoped would help, was already moving to the pool of water. She whispered something in an old tongue, and the water flashed bright silver before fading back to stillness. She turned to Seraphina.“You need to run. • THE PURE ALPHA    Isabella's POV

Isabella, the daughter of Alpha Leclair was on the training field. She moved with great precision and skill, very quick and she didn't look or feel tired even though it was an intense fight. Her packmates on the training ground, watching her every move with great admiration. Most of them envied her and wished they could fight like her. Her opponent attacked, he was a big warrior with broad chest, battle-hardened warrior, with years of experience but Isabella outsmarted him effortlessly, she moved on her feet and her braided hair flung out like a whip behind her. She dodged his every move very well and hit him on his ribs with her elbow causing the warrior to cry out with pain, but Isabella didn’t give him time to recover. She turned around quickly, sweeping his legs from under him, making him fall on the ground and before he could gather himself she was on top of him, her dagger on his throat. The crowd of people who had stopped their own training to watch her clapped. “She’s incre

Blood moon encounter(The prophecy unveiled)Isabella in the heat of the moment still held onto her dagger. “You’re not from our pack and you obviously are trespassing.” She said in a steady voice even though her heart was pounding in her chest. He bent his head slightly amused at her statement. “I'm very much aware of whose lands I presently stand on,” he said.“Such arrogance” Isabella thought” She stood her ground, neither moving nor blinking but her wolf kept jumping beneath her skin, restless. He took another step forward effortlessly and for some reason she couldn't understand, his scent intrigued her. “Who are you?” she demanded. He smiled lazily, “Tristan Wolfe.” The name sent a shock through her. She knew that name. Everyone did. The rogue Alpha. His name was whispered amongst the packs as a wolf who answered to no one, obeyed no rules and he was feared. Her stance stiffened. “You need to leave.” Tristan didn’t move. “Or what?” he asked mockingly. Isabell

  • THE PURE ALPHA    Tristan's Confusion

Tristan woke up suddenly, he was sweating profusely. The dream had felt too real. He got out of bed rubbing a hand on his head as he tried to make sense of the dream or vision, whatever it could be called. In it he had seen a child, his eyes too bright, his voice too strong. A child that called to something deep inside him. He swung his legs over the edge of the makeshift bed he’d claimed for himself, his muscles tensed as he tried to shake the feeling off, but it wouldn’t leave. He wasn’t the kind of man to dwell on such things. He was a rogue, he answered to no one and didn't play by any rules. He was a man who didn't believe power was given by fate but that it had to be taken. And yet, his fists clenched. He had felt something in that vision, something that had unsettled him. Just then there was a knock on his makeshift cabin door. It was his second in command, Maddox. “Tristan, what happened to you? You look like someone who just saw a ghost” he said, noticing the expre

  • THE PURE ALPHA    The attack

The Lunaris pack had just withstood the most devastating attack. Buildings had been burnt and destroyed, it lay in ruins. They had lost a lot of warriors. As Isabella walked through it all, her heart was heavy. They had defended their home with everything they had and yet it lay in ruins. Lives lost and families left to begin to pick up the pieces of their lives again from scratch. The healers did their best to attend to everyone who needed attending to, but even they were beginning to be exhausted as they worked tirelessly round the clock. The attack had been too precise to be taken at face value. As far as she was concerned it wasn't a random attack. She believed it wasn't a rogue attack. They are dealing with a much greater and powerful enemy. She searched immediately for her father and found him at the central post near the pack's entry. He was with some of his best warriors. His posture was rigid, as he stood looking for survivors. She walked up to her father with slow but deli

Alpha Leclair stared at Isabella and then asked in a thunderous voice, “What is this I hear, Isabella?” “What did you hear, father?” Isabella asked in return. Alpha Leclair was mad with fury “Don't test me young girl” he said in a low and menacingly controlled voice. “Is it true that you are pregnant?”At that point she didn't see the need to keep stalling but she also knew that her father's anger at this point could burn the whole house down if she told him the truth but she didn't have a choice. “It's true father” Isabella said, unable to look her father in the eyes. “Who is the father?” He asked in a voice that showed he was doing all that he could at that point to control his anger and Isabella knew that one stupid answer could bring down her father's wrath on her, but how could she tell him that the child she was carrying was for a rogue alpha. “Who?” he asked again. Her pulse pounded. “Tristan Wolfe.” she replied in a barely audible voice. Alpha Leclair was stunn

  • THE PURE ALPHA    A strange new home

When Isabella was taking her things to leave after the argument with her father, she did not waste her time in thinking he would come to his senses and stop her, because she knew he wouldn’t. She had always known somehow that this day would come though she hadn't known it would be under such circumstances. She went to get her horse whom she had named Luna. The horse was strong and silver grey in color. Isabella took one last look at the packs surroundings just before she left its boundaries. She wasn't happy leaving the pack in this way but her father had left her with no other choice than to choose her child over the pack. She must protect the child and find a way to unite the fractured packs and save the dying werewolf kingdom. Her only comfort being that she would have Tristan by her side as she rode out of the gates on her horse, but as she rode on her horse away from the pack and into the forest, she couldn't help the feeling that there were dark forces hiding in the darkness of

  • THE PURE ALPHA    The Visions

Despite Jasper's answers, Isabella was still not convinced and she asked him again "Why?” Her voice was soft but sharp with curiosity. “Why help me?” Jasper simply replied saying “I have heard about the prophecy and what is coming scares me, and you are a part of it. The least I can do is to help protect you” “The enemies of a new and united werewolf kingdom are everywhere and they will stop at nothing to stop all these from happening.” “Who are these enemies?” she asked He shook his head. “I don’t know yet, but they’re closer than you think. Be careful.” As he was leaving he turned to her and said in a voice laced with warning. “Trust no one, Isabella. Not even those you think you can.” As Jasper left, Isabella was bored and she began to walk around the sanctuary until she came to a room filled with books. The room smelt damp and the books were all old obviously from age and use. As she looked through the books she found that they were filled with books and an

  • THE PURE ALPHA    The Unity of the Fraction Packs

After that great battle, the members of the both packs went about their daily activities in peace. And with the birth of the pure Alpha, there was great hope of a better future for the werewolf kingdom. Isabella and Tristan had called a meeting of all the packs that were willing to stand with them to build a better future. Today was the day of the meeting. Banners from each pack fluttered in the breeze, freshly sown, newly inked, lined side by side. The wolves had come. From the frozen lakes of the North, from the deserts of the South, from river clans and ancient bloodlines tucked into the mountains. They arrived, most of them with caution. Not yet sure of the promised unity. But they came. They came because of what some of them had seen and heard. Tristan stood confident at the head of the pack with the curse no longer on him, the fire in his veins turned to something calmer. They came because they’d seen Isabella, holding her son with grace and strength, her eyes sharp, her prese

  • THE PURE ALPHA    The Curse Is Broken

There was no time for jubilation yet, they had a battle to win. Tristan, Rhyke and Leandro went to finish what they had started. They left a few of the warriors with Isabella and the baby. It was a fierce battle. The bodies of dead warriors were scattered all over the ground. Tristan stood in the midst of it all, his chest rising and falling as the rage pumped through his veins, his armor cracked while his blade was dripping. The last wave of the enemy had come against them like water on rock, and as he started to shift, something inside him had begun to take over. He could feel it, the old rage was coming back to the surface, scraping its teeth along his spine. Every strike he’d delivered on the field had come easier than the last. He had allowed the rage to take over him. His vision had started to blur again, his hands began to tremble but not from tiredness. It was the curse rising within him and he had let it.He staggered towards the altar. He could hear Leandro barking out ord

Isabella could no longer hold onto the barrier, as she began to have labor pains. The pain was intense and in the middle of the battle. Just as the battle was raging, she screamed. The scream could almost be heard through the battlefield. And The sounds of her screaming made Tristan freeze where he stood. The blood dripped from his fingers, while his chest was rising with every breath. A Storm was coming and the clouds became dark. The thunder clapped like war drums. But it was her screams, her pain, that stopped everything inside him. He turned around and immediately saw she was kneeling on the ground. Rhyke was by her side already and two other warriors near the ridge, her face was pale, and she was sweating seriously. She held her stomach with one hand while reaching out with the other one to no one in particular. “It’s time!” Rhyke shouted looking in Tristan's direction. “She’s in labor!” “Now?,” Tristan mumbled, confused. He didn't know if to keep fighting or go to

They are to cause a war and fight the Lunaris pack. The plan is to weaken her and the pack so that Edmund can strike again immediately after the fight. One cool evening, Isabella was having a meeting with her beta Rhyke, when Felicity came in. Isabella wondered why she was here again. The last time Felicity was

  • THE PURE ALPHA    Taken by Edmund Drake

The fear in Isabella caused her skin to react to the cold night air as she was dragged through the woods. Her strength seemed to have been taken by the dark magic that had been cast upon her. She had watched as her pack members had fought so hard but the dark powers that they had brought was too much for them to handle. Edmund and his evil men didn't fight fairly. The odds had been against them and it was obvious to her that they could not win this fight. The darkness that had surrounded them was too much and Edmund looked like a crazy man consumed by power. She had seen the fear in the warrior's eyes, in Rhyke, and even Tristan, even though they all had fought so hard, and Isabella's heart had been torn apart. She could not bear to see her people go through all that pain. She was their leader and it was her responsibility to care for her people and their safety. So she had willingly given herself to him, it was clear what he wanted was her and the child and she could not bear to lo

Tristan was not having a great day at all today. After his last encounter with the Moon Goddess, where he was made to understand what he must do to break the curse. He had been thinking about it a lot. He thought to send a message to her about the need to not let her guard down at all. So he sent for Leandro. As soon as Leandro saw him he sensed something was wrong. “What disturbs you my Alpha,"“I don't know why I keep having this feeling of an attack on Isabella and her pack. I need you to send a messenger to her, with a letter that I will write to her. She needs to be prepared."“Did you see anything again? Did the Moon Goddess warn you about anything?" Leandro asked, looking very serious. For he knew Tristan and this was no ordinary feeling. Something must have caused him to feel the way he is feeling now.“I honestly don't know why, Leandro. Yes, I had a visit from the Goddess herself but it had nothing to do with Isabella being in danger." “Well if you strongly feel this way,

  • THE PURE ALPHA    Edmund Drake
