86. UNRAVELLING

Irene, Monica and I grew up together and they knew that I was always reserved. I rarely use the harsh and curse words except I was extremely worked up. I didn’t have any choice but to lash at Irene when she kept questioning the reason why I had to go to the hospital.

“Irene! Can you fcking go to the hospital?” I growled coldly and I could see her shudder at my actions.

“Hey Petals, is something wrong? You rarely get worked up like this” she muttered, trying not to rile me up the more but I rather kept quiet than yell at her again so I just glued my eyes to the road instead.

We all arrived at the hospital and I asked for one of the doctors that I was acquainted with. Thankfully, he was around and not busy so he attended to us without hesitation.

“I don’t know why these spots keep getting many instead of disappearing. They told me that they were syringe marks that he obtained during the time he was sick at the hospital but they weren’t as many as this those times. I wonder why it keeps
