CHAPTER FIVE.

  Alexa woke up feeling as disoriented as ever, she looked around and realized that the surrounding wasn't familiar. She tried to get up but she was chained to the bed.

   She tried to remember how she got there but with no luck. She was still trying to gather her thoughts when someone appeared at the doorframe.

"Enjoy your little nap?, I heard you put up quite a fight. You're a feisty little lady aren't you?"

"Who are you, and what do you want with me?"

"You have something that belongs to my mistress, and she wants it back" the person said firmly. Alexa wanted to say something when she heard a voice in the background.

"Mistress said not to talk to the prisoner" the voice was a little faint. Kinda like a little old man that had been crying. Then the figure walked into the room and it was a little humanoid figure with no hair, huge ears and eyes. Like an ugly version of one of the seven dwarves.

"What the hell are you supposed to be?"

"Morty. Morty's an elf. Morty don't want to talk to you because Morty don't want trouble."

"Don't pay attention to the stupid elf, he's a coward. The name's zeta by the way." she said then she walked in. She was pretty huge for a woman and she kinda looked scary with her shoulder length black hair, deep grey eyes and a snake tattoo on her arm. "I like to get to know to the prisoners before I kill them. Now, tell me bout urself"

Alexa stared at her for a while before slowly turning to Morty. "Morty, right?, I'm Alexa"

"Oh Morty knows. Morty knows all about Alexa."

"What do you mean?"

"Morty can't say, Morty has already said too much." Before Morty could say anything else, someone else walked into the room and she recognized him. It was the man who was at their house earlier.

"You!, What did you do to my brother?"

The man didn't respond, he just growled at her like he did before. She wanted to scream at him again but zeta stopped her.

"He can't speak no more!. Punishment for talking when he wasn't supposed to." she said, with a cold smile on her scary face.

"What happened to my brother?" Alexa asked again.

"Oh we didn't need your brother, he was just at the wrong place at the wrong time, that's all."

"Wrong place?, he was at his own house, how is that a wrong place?"

"Oh well then he was at the right place at the wrong time"she said simply.

"So where is he now?" She asked with obvious concern.

"He's fine, probably at home or in the hospital, but anyway he's fine." She said casually. "Now, let's talk about your punishment for stealing from my gracious mistress." She added and grinned deviously.

"WHAT HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?"

David beamed with rage, when the cops said they couldn't find Alexa. "My little sister has been missing for almost twenty four hours and you still can't find her?"

"Sir, calm down"

"Calm down!, for all we know she could be hurt somewhere out there in the dark and you're telling me to calm down, I can't calm down!"

After that maniac took Alexa away that night, the cops had called an ambulance and requested back up so Chris was taken to the hospital and the search for Alexa had begun.

"Sir, I promise you, we're gonna find your sister. We have different units searching the whole city and I know that we'll find her.

"Thanks officer" Aiden said calmly "we really appreciate your efforts."

The officer nodded and left the apartment. Aiden walked over to David and tried to calm him, but he wasn't ready to be calm.

"It just makes no sense Aiden, why would anyone kidnap Alexa?, she's a really nice girl and she never bothers anyone. I mean if it's money they want, they should call and say something " David said angrily "what will I tell mom?" He added sadly.

"Don't worry Dave, all will be well. Your mom's gonna be discharged in a few days and I'm sure she would've been found by then."

"If you say so."

"Yeah, so relax and get some rest. You know we have to go and see Chris tomorrow." Aiden said and urged David to bed.

"Rise and shine sleeping beauty." zeta said as she walked into the room. " Are you ready to meet my mistress?" Before Alexa could speak, zeta moved closer to her and whispered something to her ear and everything went dark.

Alexa woke up later in a dark room with an alter and eight chairs, four on each side. She knelt in the middle of the room and her hands and legs were tied. Several minutes passed and she knelt there, wondering what would happen next. Then after about five minutes, some people walked in. Eight hooded figures and took their place in front of the chairs but didn't sit. Few seconds later, another person walked in and stood at the alter, then she said something in another language before they all sat down.

"We are gathered here today because we want to punish this young girl for disrespecting us. She has angered the council and she mustn't go scot free." The person standing at the alter, who happens to be a woman said and the others murmured in agreement. Alexa wanted to say something, to protest that she was innocent but before she could, the woman continued. "Besides, she has something that belongs to me and I want it back". That was when she spoke up.

"Who are you people?, And what do you want from me?. Zeta also told me that you want something from me, what is it?"

"Silence! How dare you speak?" A man spoke from her right.

"Let her speak" the woman who seems to be their leader said. "At least she should get to know her offence before she dies." She added.

Alexa was scared to death when she heard that. She didn't offend anyone and even if she did, why would the person want her dead?. What could she have done for her to deserve death?.

They decided to kill her in seven days cause it would give them enough time to prepare everything they needed for her sacrifice. After their weird and scary meeting, zeta took her to a cell and chained her there then the woman who led the meeting walked in.

"You can leave zeta, I'll take it from here."

"Yes mistress." she bowed and left quietly. After she left, the woman turned to her. "I know you must have a lot of questions"

"Yes, who are you?". The woman's voice sounded familiar, too familiar, but she couldn't remember who she was. All she was sure of was that the woman was someone really close to her.

The woman didn't answer, she just turned and she removed her hood. Then she slowly turned and when Alexa saw her, her eyes widened.

"You!, How dare you?!. After what you did, you had the guts to kidnap me, I'm going to kill you!" She yelled while trying to fight back the tears that blurred her vision.

"Oh relax. I did you a favour." She paced casually across the room as she spoke.

"A favour?, you killed my sister!." She couldn't stop the tears that streamed down her cheeks as she spoke but Josie wasn't moved. She just looked at her and continued talking.

"Killing Jenny was never part of the plan, but my friends were hungry and I couldn't let them kill you then. I know how much you love your sister, that's why I let you see her one last time and if it makes you feel any better, you'll be joining her pretty soon." she said, laughed evilly and left.

    Alexa screamed and cried for a long time before she got tired and after a long time of silent crying, she finally fell asleep.
