Leaning into Bryan, Kira took slow, uneven breaths, trying to calm herself. She knew it wasn't their fault for making such a decision, but it didn't help with how she felt inside. She was sad, exhausted and emotionally drained.
She knew they would do anything for her, yet those words, "We can't ask you to wait for us," lingered, and it pained her so much. It pained her that there was nothing much she could do but leave. Staying might destroy them even more than leaving. And Kira knew that. She let out a shaky breath as Bryan rubbed her back and whispered sweet, soft words to her, her weight pressing into him as she could no longer really hold herself up. "It's okay," Bryan murmured, his chin resting lightly on the top of her head while he continued rubbing her back in slow, comforting circles. "We are here. We got you." Hearing those words from him almost made her start crying again, but she held back and nodded against his chest, whispering, "I know, and I got you too." Bryan, also emotionally drained, recognized that Kira needed support from both him and Aiden. So, he shifted slightly and looked at Aiden, who stood watching them. His eyes met Aiden's, and Aiden didn't need more than that silent look to move closer to Kira. He understood the need to share the pain and sat down beside Kira on the couch, gently. Kira, knowing that she needed Aiden, turned toward him, instinctively seeking his comfort. Aiden gently pulled her into his arms, wrapping his arms around her. Their bodies seemed to seek each other out, drawing closer, as if they could not be whole without each other. Kira buried her face into his neck, his scent calming her down even more as he held her protectively, rubbing her back gently and placing soft kisses on her forehead. Aiden could feel her warm breath against his skin and smiled as she clung to him. He held her tightly, one hand smoothing over her back and the other gently cradling the back of her head as he could feel her shaking, but not too much. He felt her pain. They all felt each other's pain, but they knew they would hold her and be with her for as long as they could. With a soft breath, Aiden kissed her again on her forehead. This time when he kissed her, he waited for some minutes as if making a promise to her before he drew back, his lips leaving her forehead. Meanwhile, Bryan, despite his pain, called for Morane, letting her know that they were done talking. A moment of silence passed before he heard Morane's room door open and saw her step out. Morane's eyes softened when she saw them, and she wanted to say something to comfort them but knew there was nothing she could say that would be more comforting than them having each other, and so she simply made her way to her one-seater couch and sat down slowly. Bryan cleared his throat as she sat down before speaking, his voice hoarse, but he still managed to keep it steady. "Before anything happens… Can we at least have a few more days together? A little more time before she leaves." Morane took a moment before she answered, clearly weighing the consequences of what he had asked. "Sincerely, I do not know," she admitted. "We never know when the curse might act up, when it might try to take over. But... perhaps two days is all you three can have together." "And what about the injection?" Bryan inquired, hoping that maybe he could get them more time together. "The liquid, how about it? We can take it, even though the curse has not shown any signs of taking over. That should help, right?" "Two days is all you have," Morane answered, leaving no room for arguments. "If you keep extending it, it will only make things harder for the three of you. You all should leave now; you have just two days together. Spend your time with each other wisely." With that said, Morane stood slowly, her gaze softening as she looked at them, and sighed. "I am deeply sorry for this," she said. "If I could have done more, I would. I have seen how happy you three are together and how much you three have grown in trust, forgiveness, and love. It breaks my heart to do this, but we all know this is what is best." "It's not your fault," Kira muttered as she pulled away from Aiden's embrace and got up, with Bryan and Aiden following suit. "I fully understand that this is what we have to do." Kira admitted, her chest tightening as she spoke, but she forced out a weak smile. "So please, don't blame yourself." Knowing that Kira's words were true, Aiden nodded silently, agreeing with Kira, while Bryan reached out and placed a hand on Morane's shoulder. "Thank you," Bryan said quietly. "For everything. We appreciate you." Morane smiled sadly and nodded, her eyes meeting each of theirs one last time. "In two days' time," she said, "when it is time for Luna Kira to leave, I will sever the bond on the second night. Be here on that night." Bryan, Aiden, and Kira nodded in acknowledgment before they turned to leave. They didn't need to say anything more; what had been said was enough. As the door clicked shut behind them, Morane stood for a moment, processing her emotions. She sighed and looked around her living room with a heavy heart, feeling the pain of the situation. When she turned and walked back into her bedroom, she just could not believe how much of their pain she could feel and wondered how painful it must be for them. She knew the bond they shared was stronger than anything she had ever seen, and she also knew that Bryan and Aiden would stay strong for Kira, but she could see that for the first time, they didn't hide their emotions. She had no idea if they had forgotten to hide it or something, but it was written all over them—their bodies, their voices when they spoke, and most of all, in their eyes. Morane wished she could do more for them, but even she knew that fate had its course, and it was not in her hands to change it. All she could do now was hope that, maybe, somehow, their love would find a way to heal them in the end.Kira walked slightly ahead of her mates as they returned home together, her heart and mind full.Aiden was the first to take her hand, walking closer and slipping his hand under hers before curling his fingers around hers. His grip was gentle at first, and then he held her closer. As Kira felt his hold, she turned her head slightly, her brown eyes meeting his dark ones, and smiled softly at him before looking ahead again.Meanwhile, Bryan, watching them, walked closer. Kira smiled softly and turned to him, not surprised that he had followed Aiden, her eyes full of love.As they held her hands and walked back home, they didn't let go, and soon they reached the mansion. The house was quiet when they stepped inside, but they didn't stop. Kira smiled warmly and raised her hand to Aiden's cheek. She caressed his cheeks, her smile growing wider, before she leaned in and gave him a soft peck on the lips. "Let's go," she whispered, her gaze not leaving his.Aiden nodded and smiled back as he started pulling away to stand; his heart warmed from her gentle affection and soft peck.As Kira sat up and got ready to get out of bed, she glanced around, noticing that Bryan wasn't in the room. "Where's Bryan?" She asked Aiden, her brows furrowed slightly. "Did he go somewhere?"Aiden opened his mouth to respond, but before he could speak, the bathroom door opened and Bryan walked out."I'm here," Bryan said in a casual, deep voice. "Missing me already?"Kira turned, a smile creeping up her face again. "Yes. As a matter of fact, I missed you so very much," she admitted as she got up and walked toward him before he could reach the bed.She stood close, Bryan looking at her with a playful smile and a raised eyebrow. Orion said to Kira while chuckling, enjoying how his son teased her. "I'll get back at you, Bryan Tyrell," Kira threatened, narrowing her eyes at Bryan and crossing her arms. Dinner was great as always—the laughing, the conversation, the playful banter, everything. It was no surprise that manners were forgotten at the dining table, hence the talking while eating, and now everyone was relaxed and chatting as they were all done eating."Dad, Aiden and Bryan are just… they just won't stop messing with me," Kira complained to Orion, gesturing to Aiden and Bryan, who were grinning at first but immediately kept their faces serious when she complained about them."What now?" Orion asked Kira after looking over at his twins. "What are they doing this time?""Nothing," Bryan answered before Kira could. "We are literally not doing anything to her except keeping her on her toes. She can't even stay still on those toes, you know. We are simply just having fun, father.""Exactly," Aiden said and nodded in agreement. "We are not doing anything to her.""Seriously?" Kira asked them, although she hid her smile and feigned annoyance, just so Orion could side with her."So
Kira's ears twitched at the sound of rustling leaves in the dead of night and a faint noise. Laying down in her little spot in her cave, her eyes snapped open. She quickly got some water which she kept aside for thirst and quenched the fire in the cage that was lit to keep her warm. Her heart pounded as she concentrated and strained to hear over the thudding in her chest and to know if someone was truly out there, lurking around. Finally she heard it.Someone was coming! And they were getting closer. Who were they? What did they want?Kira tried to hide herself and it was already too late for her to leave the cave. Whoever it was, was already so close. She held her breath, hoping that they would pass and leave, but the sounds of footsteps and the sound of twigs breaking grew louder."Did you find her?", she heard a voice ask. It seemed like they were looking for her "Not yet, but I am sure she is here, I can smell her. I recognize her scent", The other voice answered."Werewolves but
The initial puncture was like a needle jab on her neck, quickly followed by an agonizing pain. Kira could almost hear the sickening squelch as their fangs tore through her skin. Her heart pounded violently against her rib cage as her breaths became short and ragged. Gasps from her mouth as her eyes shot wide upon the sudden intrusion. Her hands clawed at the air and at their backs as she tried to push the Alpha twins away, but they were much stronger and at this point all her trails were just weak and clumsy."No! Please, no!", her voice cracked at so much screaming while thrashing against their hold.Kira's screams were swallowed by the Alpha twins' intense growls as they held her tightly in place. She whimpered and clawed at their arms some more, her nails cutting their skin, but it was nothing to them."Just stop! It hurts! Please stop!", she pleaded with them weakly, tears streaming down her face mixing with the sweat that dripped from her eyebrows."Mmm…", Alpha Bryan and Alpha
Kira was literally shaking, her head downcast, "I-i", she tried to speak but was unable to form any word."Answer the question Omega", Aiden growled, "Would you like to be taught about your place, perhaps reminded? We can actually help you remember if you keep this behavior up.""We are your Alphas", Bryan reached out to her and raised her face up with his hand under her chin, "You should be grateful we accepted an Omega as our mate, you should be honored at this privilege you have because many would kill for it."It broke her, the way they spoke to her, broke her, "This…I n-never asked for it, you can m-mate with the many," Kira said softly, her voice breaking.Bryan growled, getting more upset, he took her face in his hands and squeezed it.Her eyes widened as Bryan's fingers closed around her jaw, his grip like a vice. Fear shot through her, making her heart stutter.Kira tried to pull away, but her struggles were feeble as Bryan's grip increased painfully. "B-Bryan", Kira stutter
Kira on hearing Bryan's voice nodded, as she got out of her trance, "Y-yes Alpha", she responded promptly.Bryan started walking again and this time Kira followed him quietly, at his back, while wondering why he did what he did.He also had long white hair like Kira's with black hair, but Aiden's hair was black and shoulder-length. It was like they had shared some things with Kira, Bryan with the long hair like Kira and Aiden with the black hair like Kira.Kira thinking about this, found it funny and held herself to not laugh out loud, just keeping it inside with a shake of her head.It was like they had raided her closet and she wondered if they had shared her hairdresser too.Soon they both got down the stairs and reality came back to Kira. Everyone was seated at the dining table, Aiden, their parents, just them."Good morning Sir and Ma", Kira greeted the twins' parents along with a bow."Good morning Kira", Their mom smiled at her softly."Morning, Kira", their dad said with a no

Stepping outside, Bryan leaned against the outer wall. He tilted his head back and closed his eyes, his chest heaving as he tried to calm himself and steady his breathing, but that was impossible. The ache in his heart refused to let up. He took deep breaths and exhaled shakily, his knuckles already white because of how tightly he balled his fists. After some minutes of inhaling and exhaling, he tightened and relaxed his fists, before he felt a hand on his shoulder.Bryan didn't need to check when he felt the hand on his shoulder; he just prepared himself, knowing what was coming, and he knew that whatever was coming was going to be for the best."You know what we have to do." Aiden's voice was low, controlled, and filled with the pain he didn't try to hide. He stepped closer, his hand still on Bryan's shoulder. "It will be for the best.""I know, Aiden," Bryan nodded, his throat tightening as his voice broke slightly. "I know. I just—" He stopped, closed his eyes and sucked in anot
Aiden raked a hand through his hair, the hopelessness of the situation frustrating the life out of him. "I don't understand," he said to Morane, the frustration in his tone fully on display. "There has to be another way! What do you mean, we have to stop being mates?""Look, I am not angry with you. You have done a lot for us, and we are genuinely grateful, but this…this was the last thing I expected to hear. I never even expected to ever hear such," he said as he leaned forward slightly and ran his hands over his face before gripping his hair in desperation. "This curse of a thing is just so exhausting.""I know, I understand," Morane said, raising her hands slightly. "But listen to me first. Please calm down," she said softly, fully understanding what the three of them were currently going through. "The curse can only be broken by the witch who cursed you or someone from her bloodline. Do you understand what that means? We do not even know who the witch is. Talk more about someone f
Bryan, Aiden, and Kira immediately rose from their seats, shocked by what they had just heard. They exchanged quick glances as each of them waited to hear what Morane would say next."What is it?" Aiden asked, stepping forward slightly. "What is the curse?""This is not a matter to be discussed here," Morane said with a shake of her head. "Please, come with me.""That is true," Aiden said, nodding in agreement. "Alright, let's go."At that moment, the maid Kira had instructed earlier came out of the kitchen, carrying the reheated dishes on a tray. "Alphas, Luna," the maid called out as she began placing them on the table. "Are you going somewhere? The food is ready.""About the food," Kira said. "Just put it back for now. We will eat later.""Okay, Luna," the maid replied and nodded obediently. Then, the maid gathered the dishes back on the tray and returned to the kitchen.Morane, who was about to leave, stopped when the maid called out to the Alphas and Kira. And when Kira was done
Bryan and Aiden agreed without hesitation, and Kira followed them out of the room, down the passage until they stopped in front of the hidden room door.Aiden pushed it open and stepped aside so she could enter first. As Kira entered, she looked around, and it was definitely not what she had expected. The room felt too impersonal, too functional. It felt like a cell to her. Her eyes scanned the room, and then she noticed the shelf on one side.On the shelf, she saw small bottles filled with liquids. The contents themselves looked quite strange as she picked it up carefully and asked, "What is this?""Morane made that for us," Bryan explained as he stepped closer, watching her calm expression to everything. "It is meant to help us for the curse. She is also the one who told us to prepare a room like this when she first found out about the curse. She wanted us to be prepared just in case, because she had a very bad feeling about everything.""I see," Kira nodded, turning the bottle in h
