CHAPTER 135 : THE PERFECT CHAOS

After about thirty minutes, Bryan, Aiden, and Kira began making their way down the stairs. They had changed into something more comfortable, as Elara had requested, and honestly, they felt they should have done that a long time ago, especially when they got back from Morane's home. 

But well, they changed now and as they descended the stairs, something caught their attention.

Music.

It was a gentle tune, not too loud, that came from the living room, carrying an almost nostalgic feel.

"Do you both hear that?" Bryan asked Aiden and Kira, his steps slowing a bit.

"Yeah…" Aiden answered wonderingly. "Who is playing that?"

"Well, I guess we will find out when we get into the living room, which we might have all figured out by now is where it's coming from," Kira, who was in the middle, said. "And, I think we have an idea of who it could be."

"Right," Bryan and Aiden laughed softly. "I wonder what she's planning." 

Reaching the end of the stairs, they noticed the house was too quiet, except for the music, of course, but there were no signs of the maids or sounds from them either. 

They didn't even hear Orion or Elara's voices.

"Is it just me, or does it feel like no one else is here except us?" Kira asked as she looked around.

"I feel the same," Bryan nodded, running a hand through his hair and arranging it as he scanned the space.

"Clearly this was Mother's plan," Aiden stated. "Let's just go in."

"Sure," Bryan and Kira agreed, and the three of them made their way toward the living room. The moment they stepped inside, they saw that the living room looked like it had some changes, which it most likely did.

The center table, which was usually in the middle of the room, was not there anymore, and they saw it was pushed to a far corner, creating an open space in the middle of the room.

Also, Orion and Elara were there, both standing near the far side of the room, smiling at them.

"I dismissed the maids," Elara said, her smile widening and her voice warm.

"Why, though?" Kira asked as they all stared at Elara confused. "Mum, what are you planning now?"

"I thought we should do something together as a family," Elara answered, her smile softening. "Even if it might be for the last time, let's… do something different, together."

"And… we also thought you three would want to spend these last two days together," Orion spoke up after Elara was done speaking. "You might not be able to spend the night together on the second day, so we thought this would be nice."

With smiles on each of their faces, Kira, Bryan, and Aiden nodded. They didn't try to fight, argue or act stubborn; they just accepted it. They knew Elara and Orion were trying their best to make things easier for them, to leave a lasting memory, and they appreciated it a lot.

It even made their hearts ache.

"I thought and planned it all," Elara said, glancing at Orion. "Your father just wants to take some credit."

"Oh?" Bryan chuckled, already knowing where it was going.

"I helped, didn't I?" Orion asked Elara, straightening up. "And I also agreed and said this was an amazing idea!"

"Yes, you helped move the table," Elara said to him, turning and looking at him. "That is what you helped with. Now quit whining."

"That's not—"

But before he could finish, Elara shut him up with a quick kiss to his cheek.

"I don't want to interrupt," Bryan said, obviously interrupting. "But is this the good idea?"

"Watching you both be lovey-dovey?" Aiden added. "I don't think we want to watch that."

"Stop teasing them," Kira scolded Bryan and Aiden, chucking lightly. 

"Well…" Elara cleared her throat. "To answer your question… No."

Then she clapped her hands together, the wide smile from earlier back on her face as she said, "We are going to dance!"

The moment she announced that, Bryan, Aiden and Kira stared at her surprisingly. 

"Dance?" they all asked at the same time in perfect sync.

"Like… dance dance?" Kira asked.

"Yes," Elara grinned, nodding. "Like dance dance!"

"We will start with slow music, you know, like classical," Elara explained. "Then we will switch to something more fun, more… How's it said? Yes, more bubbly, where we will all just jump and dance together. That's how it's done, right?"

Kira nodded. "Yes, Mum," a wide smile spread on her face. It was quite obvious she loved what she was hearing. 

"It's a fantastic idea," Kira agreed, then turned to Aiden, then to Bryan, her smile and happiness reaching her eyes. "Let's start with the music for crazy and fun dancing!"

"That's the spirit, my darling," Elara agreed and grabbed the remote quickly, changing the music to something crazy and fun. Within seconds, the soft music that was playing was replaced by a loud one with heavy bass.

"How's this one?" she asked, turning back to Kira.

"Mum, it's perfect!"

Without anything else to be said, Kira stepped forward, moving into the center of the room. As she felt the music, she began to move.

She lifted her arms above her head, swayed them slightly, then swayed her hips, before bringing her arms down in a slow, teasing motion. And while she did all this, her eyes were locked on her mates.

It was sultry, playful, and effortless.

"Come on, boys," she teased, her voice lilting. "Don't be shy now."

"Shy?" Aiden scoffed, rolling his shoulders. "Who's shy? I bet you can't beat me on the dance floor."

Bryan, however, was not sure about it. "This is very tempting," he said, "But I really don't know…"

"Ughh," Kira let out dramatically before stepping toward them.

"Oh, come on!" she urged as she grabbed both of their hands and tugged them forward. "Loosen up and have lots of fun."

With a surprised chuckle, Aiden let himself be pulled, while Bryan—despite his hesitance—also gave in.

Kira led them to the center of the room, and the music only got louder.

The dancing started with just the three of them—Aiden immediately caught up in the beat, matching Kira's energy as his body moved easily.

He was so happy, he spun and then leaned in toward Kira and teased, "You call that dancing?"

"I call it dancing!" Kira said as a matter-of-fact… before twirling around herself.

Noticing that Bryan was simply tapping his foot, Kira pulled him forward again. She and Aiden danced around him, and eventually he started dancing too.

And then Orion and Elara joined in.

Orion grabbed Elara's hand and spun her dramatically, making her let out a surprised squeal before laughing and shaking her head. 

It was easy for them to match the vibes, and at some point, they were all moving together.

They all danced together, all of them in the room, as the music carried them and their laughs filled the room. Elara would sometimes clap her hands and spin in circles with Orion, and then Kira would do the same with Bryan and Aiden.

At some moments, they would hold hands and twirl each other while screaming out the lyrics when the chorus hit hard.

They laughed, jumped, stumbled, and danced like they didn't have any care in the world.

It was exactly how they wanted to feel. 

It was loud, just as they wanted.

It was chaotic.

But it was perfect.
