CHAPTER 4

This means that Banks Anderson was her children’s father?

Could this mean that she was lucky to have had sex with someone like Banks Anderson?  She wondered as she looked at him.

Shock washed down her veins as she stared at him. She couldn’t even concentrate and all she wanted was just to leave the place urgently and clear her mind. She was literally shaking! She was destabilized!

But then, she knew it was improper to leave. Dora wouldn’t even agree to it. It could cost her job, the job she had been desperately looking for Staying and working for him here would only destabilize her the more.

When Dora shook hands with Banks Anderson, Selena thought that they were done with the interview, she was about to hurriedly set down the camera and leave hurriedly when she heard Dora speak out,

“ Alright, Mr. Banks, I’m grateful that you honored us by taking this interview. I have just a question before this comes to an end. It’s very important” she said smiling.

Selena sighed angrily as she glared at Nora secretly, she was only making this worse for her. If only she knew her thoughts but then, knowing her thoughts would put her into more danger because she knew how much Dora liked him.

“ You can go on” he said in a deep tone, which made Dora chuckle as she placed a recording pen in his presence.

“ so, knowing that you are one of the most important figures in our city, we, your fans, want to know more about your love life! You seem to be single, if I’m right, is there any woman that won’t let you move on? I mean, a woman that you can never forget in a hurry?”

Immediately Dora said that smiling, the room stilled. Even if a pin was dropped, it would be heard.

Maybe if she knows about this, then she would be able to know how she could get him. She thought and smiled again, hoping his answer would be negative.Selena stilled when she heard the question also. What if he had someone in his life and… no! What has that even got to do with her? She wondered but no matter how much she tried to think about it, she still felt troubled. What if there was someone in his mind that he did not want to forget in a hurry, yet she had birthed three kids already for him? 

She thought as she clenched her fists so hard as she looked at the handsome man in the camera.

But then, thinking about what Dora asked him, she was sure that since he was wealthy and handsome, having an excellent body shape, many women would want to trip over him and there was no way he would have self control over the women. She was sure he would be a Playboy, after all, he had acted like a model a few years ago, tricking her and having sex with her. If he could do that, then he would be a Playboy.

How then, can he have a woman in his heart? If he was still single at that age, then he would be a man who changed women like clothes! He even pretended not to see her. Maybe he had forgotten her already! How then can such a man have someone he can’t forget? That’s absurd! Who would want to tie such a man down and won’t let him move on? That was definitely not possible. She concluded and looked at him.Focusing his gaze at the woman that asked him the question and back to the woman behind the camera for a while, he smiled.

Tapping his hand lightly, he nodded.

“ Yeah, there’s a woman after my heart, and I can’t seem to forget her,” he said with no expression on his face.

What? Selena thought in surprise. He had a woman in his heart? What was she expecting anyway? That he would remember her?

She was the past that he had smashed anyway. She thought with a light chuckle which was not so obvious.

But then, now that she thought about it, it looked as if Banks Anderson was staring at her, instead of the camera. Maybe it was only her imagination but the more she thought about it, the more it felt real. She did not have the courage to stare back at him.

Dora stilled a bit when she heard his response. He had a woman in his heart? Does this mean that she had no chance with him?

Damn it! She couldn’t lose this man! She thought and forced a smile on her face.

“ wow! So romantic, may I know the kind of woman she is?” She said and smiled as she looked at him. He did not seem to like the question. Instead, she laughed.

“ My bad, may I know her name? I mean, what kind of woman is she? I’m so curious,” She replied. Selena looked at him, wondering what kind of woman he had in his mind.

Banks Anderson stood up swiftly, glancing at Selena, he continued.

“ Say no more. Time’s up!”

Selena knew that he intentionally avoided the question.

Just as he was about to leave while Selena stopped the camera, Dora hurriedly walked up to him.

“ Mr. Banks, how about you spare me a few hours tonight. I want us to have dinner tonight. Bills on me” She said and smiled as she winked her eyes and bit her lips, hoping he would fall for it.“ I have had a crush on you for a few years now and I'll like it if we become a thing…”

Before she could say something else, Banks Anderson pushed her away so hard that she hit her butt so hard on the ground.

“ my goodness?” she screamed out!

“ Daniel, I don’t want to see this woman anymore. She disgusts me,” he said with scorn.

“ Yes sir!” his assistant,Daniel replied and pushed her away.

Seeing this, Selena hurriedly and nervously set down the camera. Now that she had seen two scenes that involved the father of her kids, she did not think that she wanted to have anything to do with him. He was too brutal!

A brutal man can’t claim her children. She better not say anything!

She glanced at him while he stared at her.

Nervously, she lowered her head and hurriedly turned towards the door running. Banks Anderson's eyes sparkled as he watched her leave.

Why did it seem as if there was more to that woman? He thought.
