Immediately the end of the day came, I was anxious to return home.

“So, I guess I’ll see you tomorrow?” Seth told me

I nodded my head with a tight smile. If I could get away with it, I would never come back here.

Oh! The looks that I had received, the way I felt out of place.

I looked past him to see his sister coming towards us. I had had enough of everyone for today. This whole town in fact.

“Yeah. Bye then.” I said to him in a hurry and then I walked past him.

He did not know but I was having a really bad time being here. I hurried out of the school premises to avoid everyone.

I walked with my head down worried that some one would look at me and somehow know who I am. I just kept on walking not sure of where I was going. When I got to the end of a road, I saw that further meant going in to the woods. I looked awoken and since no one was looking at me, I went in to the woods quickly.

I don’t know what exactly I was doing there. But the thought of leaving this place came to

(ANNIE’S POV) When I got home, Grandma was laughing with someone in the living room. I took the back so that I would not have to come out front and meet whoever it was. Then I went to the kitchen for some water. I was just turning around when I gasped seeing Grandma and a strange man in front of me. “Sorry Annie.” Grandma said with a smile. “Yeah sorry Annie.” The strange man said too. As I looked at him again, with his spiky blond hair and warm smile, I realized that he seemed familiar. “It’s okay.” I murmured “We sensed someone in the house and seeing as the person did not come through the front door, we had to be careful .” The man said “Okay.” I said Of course we had to be extra extra careful. That Alpha X could just show up anytime. “Annie you met Roy earlier today. He is one of the keepers.” Grandma said with a nervous smile as she put an arm around me. That must be why he looked so familiar to me. “It’s a pleasure to meet you again Annie.” He said to me taking my h

  • THE LOST LUNA OF SILVERWOODS   LOOKING FOR ME?

(ANNIE’S POV) Perhaps when Grandma said that things would get better the next day, maybe she meant worse and she did not know it. Because things were definitely worse this time around. It seemed like the pairs of eyes that now followed me were more. I tried my best walking with my head up and shoulders high. I used my map to navigate myself until I got to my first class. The class almost full when I got there and as I went in, I made a mental note to myself to start coming very early. The class which had been bubbly was now quiet and I felt like all eyes were on me. “Hy.” I said in a low voice to the teacher as I gave her the slip. “Hello.” She said kindly taking the slip from me and then going through it. Her eyes widened when she saw the slip and I wondered why because there was nothing about me being the chosen one on the slip. It was just my name. Except everyone now knew who I was. “You can have a seat.” She said with a smile as she handed it back to me. “Thank.” I said t

  • THE LOST LUNA OF SILVERWOODS   THE KEEPER’S KIDS

(ANNIE’S POV) I was glad when I got home and grandma was there. “In here baby.” She yelled and I knew she was calling from the kitchen. I could perceive the aroma of the food and i moaned as it filled my nostrils. I hurried in to the kitchen and there she was with her back turned towards the door as she set the table for lunch. “Hey grandma.” I said smiling and I hurried to give her a hug and to kiss her. She kissed me back. “I did not see you when I was leaving this morning.” I told her. “Yes, did you not see the note I kept for you?” She asked with her eyebrow up and then we both looked towards the fridge and saw the stick it note that grandma left. “I was jumpy when I left.” I admitted to her. Grandma gave me a sympathetic look. “How did your day at school go?” She asked me softly as she set the dish on the table that had the chicken on it. “Not good Grandma.” I said and then I recounted the incident that happened with me and the mean girl in the cafeteria today. • THE LOST LUNA OF SILVERWOODS   I’M JUST A CHEERLEADER

(ANNIE’S POV) Grandma drove us to Roy, the keeper’s house and I felt my hand feel sweaty as she parked the car out front. The house looked like a fairy tale mansion with strong and tall gates. “We are here Annie.” Grandma offered when she saw that I did not bulge. “Oh yeah.” I said. “Are you okay?” She asked me. I sighed but I nodded at her. I just felt nervous. I felt nervous about whoever we were going to meet here. Especially the kids Grandma said he had. I hoped that it was not some mean kids from school. Grandma and I walked to the front door and she rang the bell while we waited patiently. Not king after that, a beautiful woman who has beautiful blonde hair and grey eyes opened the door. Her face turned even more beautiful as she smiled. “Please do come in.” She said and she and Grandma hugged each other. “Hy, you must be Annie.” The pretty woman said and i nodded and gave her soft hand a handshake. “I’m Ama.” She said to me. There was a serenity that the house gave me

  • THE LOST LUNA OF SILVERWOODS   A NEW FRIEND

(ANNIE’S POV) The next day at school, I was surprised to see that Jessica was waiting for me at the entrance. It warmed my heart and made me more confident. “Hy. Good morning.” She said and she hooked her arm in to mine as we both headed in to the school. And from then on, it was nice. The day even went by faster than usual. Jessica was being really nice to me by escorting me to the classes that we did not share and being even nicer by picking me up. “So they don’t know?” I asked her in a whisper when it was time for lunch break. “They don’t know. Of course except for Janelle. She is very likely to know because her father is the richest wolf in Silverwoods. He is very influential so he will hear news of the chosen one . Their family has been very rich for generations.” She said and then she added with a shy smile. “Just like mine.” I nodded at her. Then I said “just to clear things up, Janelle is the girl who was a bitch to me yesterday right?” I said Jessica laughed hard at

  • THE LOST LUNA OF SILVERWOODS   Another meeting

(ANNIE’S POV) My day at school actually went well and it was all thanks to Jessica. She walked me home and I was very happy when I waved goodbye and went home. “You look very happy.” Grandma greeted me as I walked through the door. “Hy Grandma.” I greeted her with a hug and kissed her cheeks. “How was your day?” She asked me. “It was good. A lot of thanks to Jessica.” I said feeling happy but then my enthusiasm dropped as I realized that grandma had a strange expression on her face. “What’s wrong, grandma?” I asked her. “Oh. Nothing.” She said to me with an uncomfortable chuckle. And just when I was about to prod her on, I noticed someone in the living room. It was Kelt, one of the keepers . “Hello Annie. How are you?” He asked me. “Hy. I’m doing fine.” I replied him. I did not need to be told that there was something wrong. That had to be the reason why he was here. I turned to grandma in suspicion and I caught her exchange a look with Kelt. “Is something wron

  • THE LOST LUNA OF SILVERWOODS   The Keepers’ decision

(ANNIE’S POV)The keepers had their eyes on me and I tried my best not to feel intimidated by the hard stares I was getting. But when I looked at Kelt, he broke his gaze away from me and I could not help the part of me that felt very uncomfortable about it all . That just made me feel like some kind of negative decision had been made.Terra cleared her throat and I knew that she was about to say something. “Annie, it was really good to hear you step up and agree to take your responsibility . But I am sorry to tell you that the keepers have come to a unanimous decision.” Terra started saying and the moment she apologized, I knew that the decision was not nice. I held my breath and I knew that grandma was holding her breath as well.“I am sorry but we can not let you to take on the responsibility of being the chosen one. We have to relieve you of it.” She said.I heard grandma gasp from behind me and even though I had an idea of what Terra meant by what she had just said, I needed mo

As I came downstairs from my room, i was geeeted with a nice aroma of delicious food. I went in to the dining room to see that grandma was set a very full and wonderful looking table. There were omelettes, spicy roast, vegetables, fruit juices and a fruit bowl on the table. “Good morning my baby.” Grandma said to me as she looked up from setting the table when she noticed that I had come in. I looked around in a lot of surprise . “Good morning Grandma. This smells so good. What is going on? My birthday is not until about seven weeks at most.” I said laughing. “And when that comes, we will celebrate you in an even grander style.” She said with a beam. I walked to her to give her a kiss on her cheek and she held my face with both of her hands. “I just want you to know how proud I am of you. Despite what the k

His eyes had initially been wearing a smile when he saw Henry but immediately he saw Bella, his expression changedz“Rico Please.” Henry begged using his foot to hold the door open. “My wife is in there. Why the fuck are you bringing a dead girl over to my house? Are you crazy?” Rico said angrily as he came out and closed the door behind him after pushing Henry backwards. “She’s not dead! She’s only drunk!” I said immediately. Rico stayed unmoving with his eyes just watching Bella as she lay in my arms . “Please Rico, we don’t have anywhere else to go. We would be in so much trouble if we go to anyone else for help.” Henry begged. Bella started muttering to herself and that seemed to make Rico feel better about it.“You owe me big time. • THE LOST LUNA OF SILVERWOODS   Do You Trust Me?

(ANNIE’S POV)“Well I really think that you should not be listening to what anyone says.” Jessica said as we walked home.By anyone, she was actually referring to Keeper Tana.“And If Janelle was the one who had won the match and you had been carried out looking like a dead leaf, then I know that she would not have complained.” Jessica said.As much as I was feeling guilty, I had to admit that Jessica was actually right. Keeper Tana was being very partial towards me. During the last match we had, she was the one who had subjected me to an open fight without letting me agree, that’s not among the rules to begin with. Then on top of that, she did not even show the slightest bit of care “I don’t know why she doesn’t lien me.” I admitted to Jessica.“Oh! You should not bother yourself, really.” Jessica said with a wave of her hand. “I don’t really think Tana likes anyone to begin with.”“Yeah I understand but she’s just so anti towards me.” I said sadly.“Well you should not let that br

(ANNIE’S POV)The whole room was as silent as a graveyard and it was almost like no one was going to say a word. All their gazes had now focused on me. Even Keeper Tana looked like she was surprised to see that I stood up from my seat. “Annie. Please don’t let Janelle get to you. Annie.” Jessica tried to call me in a whisper but I did not listen to her. “I will be okay.” I whispered to her quickly. Then, I simply walked in ahead to stand opposite Janelle.Janelle was surprised as well at first but then a sly smile climbed on her face as she spun her hair in to bun. I did the same with my hair.“I have to say, I didn’t expect that you would be persistent. At least you have one thing above you that matches being a chosen one. As for me, Getting to beat you two times in one week?” Janelle said with a laugh. “That would be a Great pleasure for me .”“Annie, you should not let your ego get in between you. Sometimes we lose fights, sometimes we win.” I could hear Keeper Tana’s voice from

  • THE LOST LUNA OF SILVERWOODS   Mate Attraction!

(ANNIE’S POV)Grandma made sure that I spent two more days at home without going to school after my mate. She had seen some bruises on my body and was bent on making me spend time to recover properly at home. The only thing that made me sad about it was the fact that I had not gotten to see Jessica yet.Grandma said she wanted me to rest but she had no idea that I was still finding a way to keep practicing day and night. Nothing was going to stop me. Not even her strictness. So, when she finally let me out on the third day and inspected me as I got ready to leave for school, I hoped that she would not notice anything about my looks again.“You look well rested. I know it’s combat day today but please be careful.” She said to me giving me a hug.I actually felt excited to return back to school and when I saw Jessica, I was even more excited.“If i did not see you today, I was going to make sure that I killed Seth.” Jessica said as she slung her arm around me and we walked together to

  • THE LOST LUNA OF SILVERWOODS   JEALOUSY!

(VANE’S POV)The moment I got indoors, I dumped the bags on a table and let out a loud growl as I paced about the open space. I wanted to yell. I wanted to fight. I wanted to break things. I wanted to snap a tree in to two. How dare he? How dare he?“Young Alpha?” Lucian’s voice interrupted me and my thoughts.“Lucian.” I answered simply with a growl in my throat. I was truly not in a good moment and I really doubt that even Lucian could make me feel like talking to him. The older man walked closer to me carefully and looked around. Then I saw his eyes light up as they landed on the paper bags that I had just dumped on the table “You paid a visit to the diner? Did you go for me, because I know you hardly go there?” Lucian said as he walked over to the table to glimpse at the paper bags.I have no idea what the hell I had just bought. I only went in there because of Annie.I had paid a visit to her in her room but she was not there and so I had decided to trace her scent. I found

  • THE LOST LUNA OF SILVERWOODS   The Date 2

(ANNIE’S POV)As I brushed my hair gently and wore an Alice band, I could not help but think that I had not seen Alpha Vane recently. The last time I saw him was days ago, after the welcome party. The night I had read the book he had written. His own dark encounter of the war that took his family and his pack members .Seeing as he is someone who doesn’t like to express himself easily, I believe it must have been hard for him to open up to tell me that or maybe he was not coming around anymore because he simply wanted to make sure that I owned up to my responsibilities of being the Chosen one and since I was doing that, he wasn’t interested in coming around anymore.A little bit of disappointment gnawed at me from inside but I pushed it aside as grandma came in to my room.“Oh. You look pretty.” She said to me in admiration.“Thanks Grandma.” I said with a smile.I wouldn’t say that I look pretty. I mean not with that fresh red scar that was sitting below my lip, thanks to Janelle fo

Her and hee group of friends giggled and I shook my head while Jessica rolled her eyes.“I wish I could hit someone in the face.” Jessica said with a tightened fist.I knew that she was not joking. If she was allowed to, she would have beaten up a few people just this morning. It was no surprise to me that the news of my lost match with Janelle was circulating school the next morning. “Don’t bother yourself. They are not worth it.” I said closing my locker door shut and walking with her to our next class together.“Are you okay?” Jessica asked politely and I nodded.“I’m fine. Maybe just stressed. I got up really early this morning and trained.” I said.Jessica turned to me with wide eyes.“You did? But you are not strong enough. How did you? Did Joan let you do that?” She asked in amazement.“No sh

(ANNIE’S POV)“I’m alright Grandma.” I replied her weakly for what seemed to be like the thousandth time. “Well, you don’t look alright.” Grandma said to me and kept on complaining.Jessica and Seth had followed one of the town’s warriors who helped me to get back home after the fighting match with Janelle. It was not like I could not walk or anything, they simply won’t let me try to walk home myself. They left me with grandma who had not stopped complaining because she heard that I was in an open fight in the senior group and on my first day as well.“Why on earth will Tana even do this? You’re not accustomed to the ways of an open fight. She was just trying to be mean.” Grandma complained. “Besides I believe what your friend said.”Jessica was angry as well. She said that Janelle had used her wolf skills even though she had not transformed. I really did not care.I know that it annoyed me when I saw Janelle with an annoying smirk on her face while I was being helped away. “Please

(ANNIE’S POV)I stood rubbing my own shoulders and feeling a little bit anxious as I stood behind Roy while he argued with Tana. I could hear quite clearly.“She has no wolf!” Tana argued.“No one is fighting in wolves until the day of the competition so there’s no harm in her being in the class.” Roy said sternly.“And so what good will it be if she joins the senior group when she can’t even try to partake in the competition?” Tana went on to say.“I just want you to give her a chance. She’s well skilled. Too skilled to be in the Mid group.” Roy said in a pleading tone. They argued a little more for a few second and then Roy came and tapped my shoulders with a smile.“Knock ‘em out.” He whispered to me with a wink as he walked away. I offered a nervous smile to Tana but it met her icy stare and she turned around with a hiss.“Come in. I do not have all day.” She said loud and clear for me to come in.I came in to the large dojo room. It was bigger than the one I had just left with ol
