Chapter 2

I refuse to comeback home! Not while I'm so weak I can't possibly be an army of myself...

I remember the cold night, just as the curse begun to exist in me!

“What... happen to me?” I felt my entire body shook, and suddenly a blue smoke covering me. It's gone just as it came, and I thought it's fine.

Someone will occasionally visits every rooms to inspect if every children is in their room. My room actually is visited only just once, so the shock of the Lady Inspector to find my room empty?

“The young lady is gone!” The alarm awoken everyone from their sleep. And the grand search begun!

I was so confuse to everything, startled by the alarm. I woke up just everyone else and follow curiously of what they are trying to find. But I felt as if... everyone didn't pay attention about me!

“Is they tired of me?” I thought and stop following them. Strangely, they don't even bother. “Are they really going to just let me fall back?”

That's actually... cause me a sigh of relief. I'm tired by the eyes that following my every steps!

Then there's Grandma I notice anxious and been in contact with the messengers lady. And everyone of them is given grandma a jade, however it only cause Grandma to deeply anxious. 

Then her expression greatly change, she said in certainty, “It must be those horrible species! The Lycan kidnapped the future of the huntress!”

“Future... of the huntress?” I curiously eyed everyone that suddenly voice out their wanting to wipe out the species they despise.

“Let's hunt them down entirely!” This cause everyone to shout this very sentence for much longer than I ever expected.

“Grandma...” I eyed Grandma, expected she will stop this commotion of hunting down the whole species. I thought... she said the huntress is exist to justify the wrong!

“Isn't it wrong to put into your hand the life and death of someone?” This cause my heart to felt dread. I don't even understand what this Lycan is all about, but I only know Grandma is despise this species as if they are suppose not to exist!

“Stop, everyone...” I pleading, yet to my shock, they only intensified.

Grandma said in authorize voice, “Yes! Let's do that! Save the future of the huntress!”

I was shaken, look back Grandma, and barely said with my shaken voice, “Grandma, why...”

But then I realize... I was so weak, and can't possibly stop them as they leave that night... for search a Lycan in every part of this world!

“My weakness... cause the huntress to forget their ideal that night,” I thought, even now still think it's the right to not be the cause of their forgetting the purpose of their existence. “We exist to justify, not to lead this world into meaningless war...”

The army slowly disperse and not dare to refuse the order. If they are really thought of her as their future, then they must learn how to accept orders now!

Misty though is conflicted, said, “Are you sure you are going to that place?”

“That place is not far from here,” I said, and turn to face the Yellow Mountain, and the area behind it is the gloomy forest which the entrance to that place.

“That really is neared this place!” Misty amusement deepened, her excitement rocketed. “So I'll going to prepare now, young lady!”

I let her prepare everything. This will be taken me more than a hundred more. Slowly, I realize the change of time didn't swayed me to travel the path I truly wanted. More than anything else, I must acquire more than enough to prove myself!

Around the month, I visits the crumbled place where the last awakening happened, and was came into nothing. Or if there is, it must be a failure as I fall into unconsciousness.

There, I let go the regrets. I felt like the sacrifice of the class didn't paid off. I felt like... this observation is just begin!

“What is awakened in this place?” I pondered as I look a the wreck darkhold, now devoid of life. I can now see the bottom without the restriction of that more powerful existence. 

But inside, I know the more powerful... The figure hovered there, 

surround with blue light, is it trully him?

The night before the day I plan to travel that place, I was hovered just before the Yellow Valley. 

At night, this Valley is gives off yellow light that filled the area with light. But still, the shadow of trees makes the other part devoid of light. They are glowing of darkness. There, I barely saw the army, trained by the old hag!

I look away and flow so fast to restraint myself to stop and landed in the mountain. I said, reminded myself, “That's why makes sure to be strong and must powerful to comeback home, Encrinch!”

Just before the sun's rise, we reach the gloomy forest. Misty seems to be filled with reminisce and couldn't stop saying, “I wonder if my fate is right in that place. I'm so excited!”

I let her be, and cautiously look the gloomy forest. I ask as I felt like eyes is everywhere, “Is this place really this eerie?”

Misty suddenly halted, curiously ask, “Eerie?” She scan around and her expression greatly change.

Suddenly, the ear-piercing roar broke the silence of this forest. The sun just slowly rise, but inside the forest, it feels like only darkened the place more!

“Is there's something wrong in this place you forgot about, Misty?” I ask her, and she shook her head.

“This forest is known for its friendly nature. So perhaps something came to live in here and change everything?” She doubt and can only stare the slowly nearing massive figure from the heart of the forest!

I gritted my teeth, throw aside the thing that stop me from floating. “Then let's go all out to remain alive-” I cut off by the sudden strike from the deepest of the forest.

“Young lady!” Misty so shock, but floating just as she received the glare.

“Don't mind me, go!” I shriek just before I felt the pain of the impact. I cough a mouthful of blood, and can only smile, said with a glare to the massive creature, “I wonder what it is, just a mere wolf!”

“You dare breath after I hit you just now!” The angered roared escape its massive mouth, and jump so high the trees in his way flow away like a twigs. “You, who dare cross this place, must scram! Let me stuff you to seethe my hunger, foreigner!”

It was this time the blue light strike the very creatures in the air and turned into nothing... but ash!

Misty just able to retrieve the bags I thrown away earlier, and my mind wonder of who cause the interference?!

“Who's there?” I scan around but strangely, I don't felt any presence. This cause my heart to shook, felt the need to be cautious than ever.

Without wasted the chance, I flow so fast that Misty scream in her lungs, “Young lad, wait for me!”

“Who's someone I can't possibly felt the presence?” I thought, and can only gritted my teeth. “Though it save me, there must be intention behind it. I must cautious from now on!”

Not long after, the gloomy forest is come to end. The forest become thinner, until the sound of water can be heard splashing about. 

“Young lady,” Misty make out a face of excitement, “this is the place! The Moonless Pack that will change your loveless life!”

My brows suddenly furrowed. “What just touch my ears just now, Misty?”

She laugh and said, “It's just an expression this place is proud about!”

“Really?” I sound suspicious and her eyes widened. If not for the splash of water in the nearby pond, I must have smash her horrible mouth.

There at the pond is the strange fly that is dancing atop the water. Just before I even commented by their horrible move atop the water, Misty suddenly exclaim, covering my eyes, “Don't look! You will curse!”

Her words rung into my ears. “Curse?”

By the look of it, Misty didn't seems lying. But the words cause me to laugh. I said before she explain, “There's no way a curse is cause by mere existence. If so, why do they do such a thing, Misty?”

There's a question that been in my heart. Why curse the living when you are the living itself?

Misty shut her mouth. Her veil slightly trembled and swayed about now and then.

The fly in the pond is quite chaotic though, and they seem as if hear what just said. I can only raise my brows, mock them if they really curse the living. But at the same time, I waited that they may curse me and I wonder what the effect of it?

“My curse is strong,” I thought, “so how can a curse by the creatures is superior? Perhaps... this curse really is a blessing!”

The Moonless Pack is live up in its name! The sky fill nothing but either cloud of white or dark. Not even the rising sun can see here. So I exect it really devoid of celestial sight.

But just as we reach the bustling place, the thundered strike the sky, filled the cloud with blue light. It rung my ears to a numb, and felt my heart shook as if feeling the calling within that thunderous strike! Then a pressure poured through me, getting stronger and stronger that I can barely look up without the beating of my heart to intensify. 

Misty exclaim with too much terror yet curiousity in voice, “That's...”

I didn't dare to move, look closely to the sight that cause everyone to felt their heart as if in chaotic and terror. I nodded approvingly when it make out a comfort in my heart after the pressure within me, and insight came into mind as I said, “Someone just struck by the beauty that just appear in this place... Is it helping me to felt good, or just welcoming me?”

Scanning around, the blue light came to vision that barely seen, around the blue light is a familiar figure I barely believe is right at the summit this of all time. I murmured his name, “Alarkin...”
