CHAPTER 91

Tanya's POV

He ordered for food to be brought to the room. I didn't want to eat, even though I was very, very hungry; my appetite left me at the moment Henry died.

"Get a table and some furniture also," he said to the people he kept ordering about. I didn't know whether they were his slaves or whether they were paid to do it, but they seemed to serve happily.

"I wonder what the hierarchy here is," I said to him, wanting to strike up a conversation until he was ready to tell me what he wanted.

"It is quite nice," he said, "but it is none of your business. You do not need to think about or bother yourself with it."

Seeing that he would not tell me about it, I decided not to ask him again but started thinking about another way to keep him off the topic of my eating. I didn't want him to ask me why I did not want to eat because it would make it difficult for me to abstain. He might even try to force me, for all I knew.
