Rodrigo's POV

It took me quite a while before I realised that it was an ally standing in front of me. It wasn’t just any random person; it was Dante.

“What are you doing here?” I asked him, raising an eyebrow. There was a good chance that he was here to help, but he could also have his motives. I wasn’t foolish enough to think that we were friends. We weren’t.

“What does it look like I’m doing here?” he asked. “Saving you.”
