Tanya's POV I cried all I wanted, but no one seemed to care. Nobody came to check on me for the next few hours, giving me enough breathing space. I couldn’t help but look at his body once in a while, feeling the guilt weighing on me. Tanya's POV He ordered for food to be brought to the room. I didn't want to eat, even though I was very, very hungry; my appetite left me at the moment Henry died. "Get a table and some furniture also," he said to the people he kept ordering about. I didn't know whether they were his slaves or whether they were paid to do it, but they seemed to serve happily. "I wonder what the hierarchy here is," I said to him, wanting to strike up a conversation until he was ready to tell me what he wanted. "It is quite nice," he said, "but it is none of your business. You do not need to think about or bother yourself with it." Seeing that he would not tell me about it, I decided not to ask him again but started thinking about another way to keep him off the topic of my eating. Tanya's POV He seemed to enjoy my resistance because he smiled at me. "I think the conversation has lasted enough," he told me. Tanya's Pov For the next couple of days, I was bored and scared. I felt like the longer I stayed in the little cell of a room they locked me in, the more I would lose a piece of my mind. Hell, he did not even let me stay in the room where we had had the not-so-pleasant conversation that led to the whole thing in the first place. No, he moved me into a smaller room, one that was dark and murky. 'Gloomy,' he had called it with a smile on his face before he left me to suffer and rot. It had high windows and damp floors. Tanya's POV I was seated at the table facing Enzo, getting ready for whatever he wanted to say to me. Throughout, he had been eating ferociously, but I didn't have the appetite. "You should really eat," he said to me slowly. "This might be the last good meal you have." I considered his words carefully and decided that he was right. If he actually wanted to starve me after this, then it was very possible, and there would be nothing for me to do to prevent him. I should have a very good meal before that happens. Tanya's POV As expected, the room I was taken to was worse than the former one. I didn't know any words to describe it, but it was dark and foreboding. The window was even higher than the one in the last room, and as I had expected, the air was less compared to the former one. It was as if they were trying to punish me with suffocation, along with the others. The food that was given to me was a lot less than what I had before in the previous room.
