Scared of him

"Excuse me, Vador asked me to get a coffee for him," Ava said to one of the maids in kitchen.

"Vador!" Vandora exclaimed, "how dare you call him by name you stupid human."

"I'm here for the coffee," 

"You really are stupid,taly replied. She was also a maid."Go make the coffee yourself"

"Okay," Ava replied leaving the kitchen.

"Avan,get over it," She heard Vador say.

Entering the study, "I got no coffe,the maids were rude to me.Who were you talking to,a ghost?" She asked looking frightened.

"Silly no," he replied laughing"Meet Avan."

"Snake," Ava shouted almost falling down but was caught by Vador. Feeling the increase in her breathing "calm down now,she's a good girl" Vador said.

"Are you sure?" Ava asked trying to touch the snake but ended up falling back into Vador's arms.

"Okay .Only I can hear her speak but now you'll be able to," Vador replied patting Avan on the head.

"I get offended when people act like I'm dangerous," Avan said sarcastically.

"Woah,cool snake," Ava replied finally touching it.

"Thank you,Now let's get my coffee".

"Who does she think she is?" Vandora asked"She's just a mere human vampire".

"Uh,Vandora," Katherine said giving her a push.Katherine was also a maid,she had given Vandora a push to make her turn around to acknowledge the lord's presence.

"Ava or whatever her...

"Is there a problem here?" Vador asked calmly.

"My lord," They said bowing.

"Care to explain why my assistant was spoken to rudely?"

"My lord...

"Don't even think of coming up with a lie," Ava said cutting Vandora off.

This girl really is something, Vador thought.

Vandora was known for threatening any female seen with the lord. She was lady Jadis' cousin and had fallen for the lord ,threatening all the ladies brought into the royal house.

The girl brought in before Ava was Tracy,she was a pure blooded vampire just like the other five girls before her and yes Ava wasn't the first to be saved by the lord but was definitely the first human vampire.Vador had slept with all six pure blooded female vampires making Vandora hate them, they were all so weak and naive making it impossible to defend themselves from Vandora.Ava on the other hand defended herself from the first day.The girls all fell for the vampire lord, he had used them without pity for his lust for blood and sex.

Like they say Vampires have high sex drive.

"I won't spare anyone reported for talking to her rudely again," he said vanishing into thin air.

"Can i have the coffee now?" Ava smirked.

"I'll make living here hell for you," Vandora replied giving her a cup of black coffee.

"See you there," Ava laughed.

"Here's your coffee Vador"

"Thanks damsel," 

"So aren't you going to introduce me to your queen?" Ava asked biting her lips.

"I have no queen," Vador replied with no emotions.

"Don't tell me you're too cute,you made every female die seeing you," She laughed.

"If that's the case then I wonder why you're still alive," he said smirking making her shiver at his touch."Let's take a walk."

They took a walk to the Garden.

The garden had different species of flowers but the common ones were the black flowers Ava loved so much,they were planted by King Alarie himself.

"They are so beautiful," Ava said touching the black flowers"Now that I think of it, you love black.Black roses, black carriages, black clothes and a mask, black snake. Everything is black."

"Black is the real deal," Vador replied.

"Then why aren't you the black lord," She said chuckling.

Right there darkness took over Vador,in a second his hands were tightened around Ava's neck,his eyes were no longer red but a darker shade of red.

"Don't you ever say that," he spat.

"I'm sooo ryyy," she said coughing.

The walk back to the royal house was a silent one as neither of the two spoke.

Ava was too scared to speak to him,she had seen his dark side.When they got to the royal house she went straight to her bedroom and cried herself to sleep.
