Art exhibition

"Excuse me," someone knocked at the door.

"Hello," Ava said opening the door.

"The lord asked me to give you this dress," the maid replied.

"Are you new here?" Ava asked taking the dress from her.

"Yes my lady. I'll take my leave now."

The maid had left and Ava was still standing at the doorstep admiring the dress when Vador met her there.

"Thinking of me?" He teased.

"No....No," She stammered,a slight blush spreading across her face.

"You should get ready," Vador said biting his lips.

"Is anything the problem?" 

"Nothing could go wrong when I'm with you," he whispered into her ear making the young damsel cough. He laughed and went to his room.

The gown was long and beautiful.

Vador must have chosen it for her himself,she flushed at the thought seeing the gown was black in color.

Ava took her time to bath,tieing up her hair in a decent manner,she put the gown on.Standing in front of the mirror,she had a priceless expression across her face. She was excited,making a quick wish never to lose her red hair she dashed out of the room.

Vador was already inside the carriage when Ava stepped out of the royal house.

"You're here," Vador said admiring the damsel.

He had asked Mrs Lloyd who was the best designer in the northern empire to make the dress for her,of course the old lady had thought it was a joke as the lord had never asked of  such from her.He remembered the old lady's words The girl must really be special for you to have asked me to make a dress for her,,do not mess things up with her,she warned.

"Wow," Ava said pulling Vador out of his thoughts.They had reached the gallery.

"You like it" Vador asked feeling slightly offended at the way some male vampires were staring at her.Why did she have to look so attractive in every damn thing she wears,Vador thought.

"Wow,this is gorgeous," Ava said looking behind her only to see the vampire lord talking to a lady behind the stature in front of the gallery. The lady gave him a genuine smile and kissed him on his cheek before walking away.

Vador had felt someone stare at him when Lady Mary had pecked him.

Lady Mary was the daughter of Lord Jacl of the Southern empire. He was good friends with Vador and had asked him to court his daughter.Using his vampire speed,he was behind Ava.

"Let's go in he said," taking her hand.

"Sure," Ava replied not knowing what to say.

The little hope she had was gone after seeing another lady peck her lord.She pulled her hand from his.Was she jealous? No. As far as she was concerned only her should be able to peck him.

Nonsense,she thought. These feelings are getting me nowhere.

Sensing Ava's thoughts and anger. Vador tried to communicate with her mentally.

"Did I just hear you in my head?" Ava asked looking surprised.

Vador was also surprised as telepathy only works for bonded vampires. For two vampires to be bonded they must have had sex and the male vampire must have claimed the female by marking her.Telepathy also works for two vampires that were dying to be together but for some reasons couldn't.

Who is she to me,Vador thought with a worried expression across his face.
