Art Exhibition II

"Yes," he replied trying to look less surprised"It's telepathy,it's the able of vampires to read or sense thoughts and communicate mentally while influencing the mind.

"I know what it is teacher,I went to school," Ava frowned.

"That was Lady Mary," Vador said feeling awkward.

"Oh and you're courting her?"Ava asked feeling her heart ache at the word courting. Maybe she really was over doing it now.

"I'm supposed too," Vador laughed.

"Uhm," Ava bit her lips.

"Easy there Lady. Her father asked me to court her.You like secrets?" He asked pulling her closer.

"Yes," She replied looking around to see other vampires staring at them"People are staring!"

"Let's say I'm pretending to court her. I don't like her and I'm not the type to care about what people think"

Ava was almost feeling happy about the fact that Vador wasn't ashamed to hold her so close in public but was shocked when she heard him say"Besides we're bats now. Look there"

"Ahh," Ava said seeing her reflection. She was a bat and so was Vador.

"Better now,look again"

"Better," Ava sighed. She was back to her normal self.

On entering the gallery, Ava saw a sketched drawing of a dog,a vampire dog maybe,It looked delivish with horns. Taking a closer look at it,the dog blinked at her.

"Seen anything you like?" Vador asked with his hands behind him.

"More of something that I don't like,"Ava murmured"That dog just blinked at me,she pointed to the drawing.

"Such a baby," Vador laughed.

The next thing made Ava scream causing every vampire in the gallery to look at her. Someone had tapped her ,on turning back to reply the person she saw that hands from a painting of a drawing  had tapped her. She screamed.

"Ava," Vador called out slightly offended.

"My lord," A man in faded clothings greeted"Is she with you" He asked looking at Ava strangely.

"Any problem?"

"She's acting quite abnormal for a pure blooded vampire," the man replied"Her skin is so pale yet she looks so ugly even for a human vampire."

The vampire lord dragged Ava and walked away without uttering a word.

"My lord," the man ran after him"I'm I'm soo ry," He stammered seeing that he had offended the lord.

"You can go,"Vador raised his hand.

"Who was that?" 

"The owner"

"I'm sorry if i caused you any trouble," She replied looking down.

"Well you won't be the one receiving a surprise visit tomorrow," he smiled wickedly.

"So much for loving art exhibitions," Ava replied yawning as they entered into the carriage.

When they arrived at the royal house, Ava went straight to her room,feeling exhausted she slept without having dinner.

The next day Ava was on her way to the garden when she heard Vandora telling Taly about how Mykel's  body was found outside the gallery with his head cut off.

Mykel was the owner of the galley and the vampire who called Ava ugly.
