The sound of footsteps running in the bush, a woman appears out of the bush, she stopped her palm coming down on her leg as she pants, her grip on her kneecap tighten to stop her hands from shaking, composing herself and her facial expressions she matched menacingly towards a little boy on a bike.

"who are you?" the boy asked scared.

"I am the real queen." she hopped on the little boys bike and rode off with the who was struggling to escape from her grip.

a group of wolves and a man burst out of the forest inhaling the scent. the man squatted down and plucked a leave from the grass bringing it closer to his nose.

"f**k!" the man cursed, "she escaped.

The worst day of my life began when I find out that the boy that took my virginity by force was my soulmate, as if that was not enough I caught him kissing my own mother, The woman that gave birth to me.

My life couldn't have been any worse than it already is.

I started loathing the alpha's son the day he lured a sixteen years old me into the basement of his grand father's house and have his way with me, to state a fact, he wasn't that good looking, obviously not my type, but do I have a choice? What choice do I have when a nineteen years old alpha's son had me trapped between his strong arm, maybe bitting my tongue was a choice but it's not for me, the idea of dying was more frightening than having a hot guy's tongue dipped in between my legs

It had not been long after the rape issue when I found out, that I was pregnant! With his child, with Kyle's child! what else does fate have in store for me? Kyle was a complete jerk, he had slept with almost all the girls in my park including me, I know I was just like him, but I didn't sleep with all the guys just, the hot ones but I didn't give my virginity to him happily, more like we fought dirty before I gave up.

But finding out that he was my mate was not just the problem, I had planned to reject him ignoring my Wolf's boiling anger, but I didn't know I would be more surprise, shocked and angry to find him kissing my mom, it's normal to be angry when you find your mom kissing a guy who is young enough to be her son right?

It all started with my best friend inviting me over to a friend's house party. on that faithful night, Gunner have busted into my room without knocking only to announce to me that he was going out with me.

" Where to?" I have asked eager to get out of my room. It had been a long day

" You know Grayson right? " He asked, who doesn't know Grayson, he was the son of our beta, and next in line just like Kyle, except for the difference in rank. He was a good guy though, I will prefer him to Kyle but that was not what fate wanted for me.

" Yeah, what happened to him?" I asked searching my wardrobe for a nice outfit for a late night getaway, my parents were out, and would not be coming home till late into the night.

" He is throwing a house warming party tonight and there is going to be a whole lot of beer, " Gunner said unnecessarily loud, raising his hands and bringing it down to his thigh with a thud, his freckled face glancing at me with a smile.

" Hey! Don't look at me like that!" I said turning to face the wardrobe in an attempt to hide the blush that was creeping up on my cheeks.

" Don't you dare give my sister alcohol or else I am not going to merciful this time. " My elder brother popped his head in to the room to warn Gunner.

" Hey relax, she is not going to get drunk, I promise. "

We left the house to Gunner's car after I was done with my make up, Gunner opened the car door and I stepped into the front passenger seat.

His phone's screen was open and a series of text messages floors the white screen. The other receiver was (Clearene Blake).

I made to read the message but I only caught a glimpse of the last text. (Do you have a plan?) Before Gunner snatched up the phone and glare at me.

"Who is that? Are you cheating on Nat?" I asked jokingly.

"Of course not, let's get out of here,"I made to tease him more but he raised his hand to his lips indicating that I should keep quiet.

I turned my head to look out the window as we drove through the less busy road of Neotown.

The wind was whirling past the windows as we sped into the Richmen estate. I admired the cool breeze of the last night of the blood moon and winter.

As we neared the party, i felt myself sweating unnaturally, a thousand butterfly seemed to have made my stomach their new best place.

I didn't know what was going on with me, the cold snowy breeze was supposed to be making me feel cold but it didn't, instead I was feeling super warm, hot to be precise. I opened the car door removing my winter jacket from my body before hanging it on my shoulder, I might be needing it later.

Gunner came out of the car holding out a glass of whiskey for me to take as he walked around to my side of the car while clutching his coat but I politely declined, I wasn't ready to get drunk not just yet. Maybe later.

" Where did you get that?" I asked peering inside the glass at the sparkling whiskey.

" From my dad's cupboard, he is got plenty of them, I only borrowed three bottles, I have it stucked away under my mom's bed, good thinking isn't it." He said laughing slightly, he seems to be freezing, he took a few gulps from the glass on his left hand, (the one I was supposed to be drinking) before returning the glass to the back of his limo, he came back still holding his own glass.

" Let's go inside," he said grabbing my waist and pulling me into his side as we walked.

" Where is your mate?" I asked Natasha was a very jealous-type of a girl, she would be so pissed if she saw her mate holding me the way she was supposed to be hold. I laughed silently at the thought as we stopped at the gate of the supposed house.

" She should be at the party by now, Griffin said he will send her." He replied his eyes twinkling with happiness at the thought of his mate. It made me a little jealous of him, I want to know what it would feel like to have a mate, from the Gunner's behavior, I figured it would be wonderful. But I couldn't help but still ask.

" How does it feel to have a mate, cause I have never seen you as happy as you are these few days with Natasha." I tried to reach him above the thrumming music and noise coming from inside the gate.

A small smile erupted from his face, " it feels good, wonderful, like... I can't explain it but I do know that it is amazing." He said pressing the doorbell, the hotness grew hotter and hotter, I was sweating uncontrollably.

"Are you alright," he removed his hands from my waist so he could look me in the eyes. "Your body's boiling..."

"Mate" a voice said in my head, I snapped my head towards the direction of the gate,

" Did you say something?" I asked him,

" No.. I didn't... Are you alright?" He seemed worried I have never seen him looking so serious before. This is a first time, I would have mocked him if we were in another situation.

" Mate our mate... Is coming." That is when I realized that I have got my Wolf and my mate was coming, probably, to open the gate for us.

The clanking on the other side of the gate made me push the gate open out of eagerness to meet our mate.

"Ours" my newly acquired wolf concurred. But as I tried to go inside the gate- my bone started cracking and reshaping, I landed on the floor with my knee and howled into the night, it wasn't a nice feeling, I was howling in pain.
