The room was filled with stunned silence, with everyone's eyes fixed on Lyrien in disbelief. Aria was the first to force herself to speak, her voice was shaking with emotion.
"I don't believe it, Lyrien. I refuse to believe that you're capable of killing your own mother. You're not that kind of person."
Lyrien's expression was tortured, his eyes were flashing with pain.
Aria continued with her words, her voice firm. "I've heard from Josh that you're searching for the Treasure of Time. That it will reveal everything that happened that night. I won't believe anything until we find it and uncover the truth."
Lyrien snorted, his expression skeptical. "You really think something like that exists? I've searched for it everywhere, but it's just a myth. I don't believe it's real."
Aria's jaw set in determination. "I don't care what you believe, Lyrien. I won't give up on you. I won't believe that you killed your own mother without solid proof. We'll find that treasure, and we'll clear your name."
"It's futile, Aria. But if it makes you feel better, let's search for this treasure. Just don't expect me to hope for a miracle." his expression was hardened, his mask slipping back into place.
Aria's face was reddened with anger as she spat out her words. "I'll never believe what you're saying, Lyrien! I believe in you, no matter what!" She stormed out of the room, leaving the others which, were in stunned silence.
One by one, the others were followed her lead, each lost in their own thoughts and unsure of what to say. Until only Arachne remained, her eyes fixed on Lyrien with a gentle intensity.
"Lyrien, I don't know anything about your past," she said softly, "but I believe you're not a bad person. You need to believe in yourself too."
Lyrien's gaze dropped, his shoulders slumping in defeat.
Arachne continued, her voice filled with conviction. "Memories can get mixed up, Lyrien. Sometimes our minds play tricks on us. Don't put too much blame on yourself without thinking it through clearly."
Lyrien's eyes flickered, a glimmer of hope rising in their depths. He looked up at Arachne, his expression searching.
"Thank you, Arachne," he whispered.
Arachne smiled, her eyes warm with compassion. "We all believe in you, Lyrien. You just need to believe in yourself too."
Aria sat alone in the other room, she was lost in thought. Eluned found her and then sat beside her, she placed a gentle hand on her shoulder.
"Aria, I know you're worried and care deeply for Lyrien," Eluned said softly. "But please, take everything easy. The journey ahead for the two of you is much more than this."
Aria looked up, her eyes were so red-rimmed from tears. Eluned's expression was warm and comforting.
"Don't let Lyrien's past define him, Aria. He's more than his mistakes. And you...you're more than your destiny."
Aria's gaze dropped, her voice barely above a whisper. "I just want to help him, Eluned. I want to make things right."
Eluned's hand was so tightened on her shoulder. "You will, Aria. You both will. But for now, just take a breath and trust in each other."
As Eluned stood up to leave, she paused and turned back to Aria. "There's something you need to know," she said, her voice low and serious. "Lyrien is a Moonwhisper, Aria. His power is stronger than any Alphan's. The future ahead for the two of you...it looks rough. It will be difficult, but I believe everything will be good."
Aria's eyes widened, shock and wonder etched on her face. "A Moonwhisper?" she whispered. '' I knew his power wasn't ordinary since the first day we meet..."
Eluned's expression was solemn. "I know. But it's true. And you, Aria...you're the key to unlocking his true potential."
With that, Eluned left Aria to process there conversation, her mind was reeling with the implications of Lyrien's true nature, she knows he isn't ordinary wolf and the journey that lay ahead.
Later that night, Lyrien stood alone at the top of the roof, gazing up at the star-filled sky. His mind wandered back to the incident, to the night of his first shift.
He had been so eager, so excited to finally experience the transformation. His mother had been waiting for him, guiding him through the process. But something had gone wrong.
As he started to shift, he felt a surge of power and pain. His body contorted, his senses was so overwhelmed. And then...nothing again as he fainted.
When he came to, he was lying amidst a scene of carnage. His mother's lifeless body was seen beside him, her eyes were frozen in a permanent stare. He was shaking her, trying to wake her up, but she was dead.
The memory still haunted him, the feeling of her limp body in his arms. He had been alone with her, and now she was dead.
The pack turned against, they accused him of her murder. The autopsy had shown that she had been poisoned with wolvesbane, and Lyrien was the only one with her that night.
He tried to defend himself, but no one listened. His father disowned him, he chased him out of the pack. The pain and shame still lingered in his mind, it was a constant reminder of that fateful night.
Lyrien's eyes dropped, his gaze fell to the rooftop beneath his feet. He couldn't shake the feeling that he was responsible for what happened, that he had somehow caused his mother's death.
The wind picked up, whipping his hair into a frenzy as he stood there, he lost in the darkness of his past.
Lyrien then felt the presence of Erith beside him, he was holding out a bottle of "Moonlight Mead", a strong, sweet liquor. Lyrien thanked him, and they clinked glasses, drinking in silence. An old man one of the people in the house approached them, he offered them fruit, but they declined, preferring the burn of the alcohol.
After a few minutes of drinking, Erith spoke up, his voice low and husky. "I ran away from my pack''.
Lyrien turned to him, his expression curious.
Erith continued, his words spilling out like a confession. "I come from a polygamous family. My mother was the maid in my father's pack. When she gave birth to me, my elder siblings...they treated me poorly. I harbored so much anger and resentment towards them, especially my older brother."
Lyrien's eyes narrowed, his grip on his glass tightening.
Erith's voice dropped to a whisper. "I tried to kill him one night. I succeeded, or at least, I think I did. But the pack's mercenaries chased me, and I had to run. I ran into the rogue, and...I would have died if not for you, Lyrien. You saved me. You're my demi-god."
Lyrien's expression softened, his eyes filled with empathy.
Erith's voice rose, his words passionate. "I know you're not a killer, Lyrien. You're not capable of hurting people, let alone your own mother. I believe in you, Lyrien. Always."
After a while, Erith patted Lyrien's shoulder, and Lyrien placed the bottle of alcohol down. Erith stood up and walked away, leaving Lyrien alone, sitting and gazing up at the starry sky.Lost in thought, Lyrien stared at the half-breed people around him, enjoying the music and each other's company. He look at how happy they are. After a while, Lyrien stood up and walked inside, he was taking his footsteps so quiet on the floor. He entered the room, finding Aria fast asleep, her face looks so peaceful in the dim light.Lyrien's heart was swelled with love as he gazed at her. He gently kissed her forehead, his lips was barely touching her skin. He then covered her well with the blanket, he then lay down beside her, wrapping his arms around her.As they slept, their bodies were entwined, and their hearts waere beating as one. Lyrien's hand cradled Aria's head, his fingers tangled in her hair. Aria's hand rested on Lyrien's chest, her fingers tracing the contours of his muscles.Their l
Victor and his team arrived at the house, their cars were loaded with ammunition and weapons. The three vehicles pulled up behind quietly, trying not to draw attention to themselves. It was midnight, but the house was still lit up, music and laughter spilling out into the night air.Victor got out of the car, his gun at the ready. He surveyed the house from a distance, his eyes scanning the windows and doors. He signaled to the others, and they emerged from the cars, their own guns drawn. As they prepared to move forward, Josh called out from behind. "Victor, wait! Remember, we need the cursed wolf alive."Victor hesitated, his grip on his gun tightening. He had almost forgotten about that. Their mission was to capture Aria, the half-breed with the cursed wolf's blood, not to kill her.He turned to the others. "Let's move in quietly. We need to take them by surprise. Josh, you're with me. We'll take the front door. Mike, you're with Sarah. You take the back door. And Alex, you're our
Aria PovIn six days I shall be destroyed by the crescent moon.I am cuffed with the metal closing round my wrists, feeding off the energy of my wolf. Before me is the Seven Tower Gate, a dark monolith whose ancient power smothers mine. I'm a mutant-an impending bomb-a danger to my pack. The whispers of 'Born unclean, Threat to self / society,' still follow me. On my face, but also on my flesh, my body littered with scars from my time as their prisoner, their brand. Once each new crescent, and my strength explodes with little care of what it destroys. The gate groaned as it was slowly opened, and a mouldy piece of bread was thrown at my feet. A pitiful gesture to the monster they’d been conditioned to see me as. My father, the infamous Alpha had thrown me in the dephts of the Seven Tower Gate, a prison inside the Organization’s clutches. To the world, Opal had died – a lie spun out of thin air to keep their eyes and ears away. The truth was far less heartwrenching- I was the result of
We looked into each other and felt it hard to get away from his shining gaze. I knew he could feel it the same way. He's indeed my mate.''Whick pack do you come from?' He asked, his eyes gleaming with curiosity and excitement. His gaze lingered on the shackles binding me, and with a boldness that left me breathless, he reached out and touched the metal.I was shocked - his wolf didn't flinch, didn't weaken, as he made contact with the shackles. It was then I realized he was no ordinary thief - he was an Alpha, a powerful leader with a strength that rivaled my own pack's leader.'Alpha,' I whispered, my voice barely audible, my weakness evident. But he didn't seem to notice, his focus fixed on the treasures surrounding us.With the precision of a seasoned thief, he gathered precious jewels and stacked them in his bag, his movements fluid and calculated.Just as he packed all the treasures, he turned back to me with a piercing glare."Let me get you out of this place," he said, his voi
As Lyrien walked back into the dark room, there was a total silent''Why isn't he returning to his pack?'' I asked Josh as my curiosity got piqued.''He's been banned from the pack,'' Josh revealed, his voice full of sorrow.''But...his power is so unparalleled, I thought he was the Alpha of his pack when I first see him' I stammered, struggling to comprehend.''He's a living legend who achieved Alpha status mere years after birth,'' Josh explained, his words were weaving a mysterious tapestry.''This is unbelievable...why would someone be born with such immense power?'' I was surprised''He's been wanted, been forced to roam the lands,'' Josh said.''Then who will inherit his pack?' I pressed on.''His brother, Erin, a leader yet to be proven,'' Josh replied, his eyes clouding with a mix of emotions, his voice trailing off into the night.Soon the midnight hour crept in, and the creaking of the door signaled Lyrien's return.I lay awake, lost in thought, and our eyes met in the dim l
Josh lowered the window, and the soldiers' eyes scanned the interior of the car.One of them approached my side, he knocked on the glass and I felt a col shiver ran through me.''Lower your window,'' he barked with a firm and commanding voice.I was scared, my heart racing with fear of the consequences of being discovered.Would I drag me back to the Seven Tower Gate, that foreboding prison filled with vengeful wraiths? Hell no I really don't want to, I'm scared.Lyrien brought his pack card showing he's from the Red Velvet Pack, and the soldiers demeanor changed in an instant. They saluted hastily with utmost respect.''She's my mate," Lyrien explained, his voice calm and we'll said. ''We're coming from my father's burial. She's still in shock, that's why she's reacting like that"The soldiers apologized profusely and clear road for us make us free to go. Lyrien's timely intervention saved me againI breathed a sigh of relief as the tension dissipated, but my reprieve was short-lived
the world around us melted away, we felt the presence of just two of us , i lost in the enjoyment of our kisses. The kiss was soft and gentle, yet passionate and intense, leaving me feeling like I was floating on air. I had never imagined that a kiss could be so powerful, I was consumed. I was falling in love with him more.we pulled back again, gasping for air, Lyrien's eyes locked onto mine, and I saw the same spark of passion and excitement reflected back at me.I felt the warmth of Lyrien's lips against mine. His lips were soft, gentle, yet passionate. His hands traced my body, tracing a path of fire along my hair, down my neck, and lingering on my waist. I was feeling my skin tingle at his touch. His hand gently cupped my rear, I couldn't suppress the soft moan that escaped my lips.He scooped me into his arms and placed me on the nearby table, clearing it of any obstacles that might hinder our intimate moment. As our lips reunited, I felt a burning desire within me.I felt his h
Suddenly, we were surrounded by a ring of werewolves fully armed, their eyes were glowing in the dark. They had set up a powder barrier the wolvesbane, it was weakening Lyrien powers and made him weak. I recognized the uniform wore by them, it is the same those men wore that night when I was captured by my father. Thy began shooting at our room, I was traumatized with the bullets piercing the nearly hit my bodies. Lyrien suddenly guarded me with his body, his eyes were so full of determination. he shown that he is ready to protect me even with his life on track.Suddenly the shooting seized, we didn't heard any sign of movement again, we first thought they had left, then we suddenly heard the sound of something thrown inside, it was another powder, this one is even more potent than the first. I felt my strength waning, as my body were weakening. Lyrien tried hard to get me composed but he was also affected by the powerful potion. Then we heard the sudden barging of the werewolves in
