Battle

After a while, Erith patted Lyrien's shoulder, and Lyrien placed the bottle of alcohol down. Erith stood up and walked away, leaving Lyrien alone, sitting and gazing up at the starry sky.

Lost in thought, Lyrien stared at the half-breed people around him, enjoying the music and each other's company. He look at how happy they are.

After a while, Lyrien stood up and walked inside, he was taking his footsteps so  quiet on the floor. He entered the room, finding Aria fast asleep, her face looks so peaceful in the dim light.

Lyrien's heart was swelled with love as he gazed at her. He gently kissed her forehead, his lips was barely touching her skin. He then covered her well with the blanket, he then lay down beside her, wrapping his arms around her.

As they slept, their bodies were entwined, and their hearts waere beating as one. Lyrien's hand cradled Aria's head, his fingers tangled in her hair. Aria's hand rested on Lyrien's chest, her fingers tracing the contours of his muscles.

Their legs were intertwined, with their bodies swaying gently with each breath. The room was filled with the soft sound of their peaceful slumber, their love were radiating like a warm embrace.

The clubhouse was shrouded in a thick haze of smoke, the music from the club was pulsating loudly from the back. then a figure was seen coming from the shadows, his face was obscured with a hoodie and a scarf. It was Josh, his bruised face still visible despite his attempts to conceal it.

He navigated through the crowd of strippers and patrons inside the club, his eyes were fixed on a tattooman standing guard. The man was imposing, a heavy gun was slung over his shoulder, with a cigarette dangling from his lips.

Josh approached him, his movements looks confident. He handed the guard a paper, who looked at him expectantly.

"Password?" the guard growled.

Josh replied, his voice low, "Luna Aeterna, Tenebrae Dominus."

The guard nodded, tucking the paper into his pocket. "Very well, you may enter."

The guard stepped aside, revealing a hidden door behind him. Josh pushed it open, revealing a dimly lit corridor which was lined with concrete walls and steel doors.

The air was thick with the scent of smoke and sweat. The sound of growling and snarling echoed through the corridors, they were mingling with the hum of machinery.

Josh walked down the corridor, his footsteps echoing off the walls. He stopped at a steel door adorned with a symbol of a wolf's head, surrounded by intricate tattoos.

He pushed the door open, revealing a large underground chamber filled with rows of computers, surveillance equipment, and heavily armed men. The room was dominated by a massive throne-like chair, where a figure shrouded in shadows sat, waiting.

The man turned the chair around, revealing a figure shrouded in shadows. As the light caught his face, Josh's eyes widened in awe. It was Victor "The Butcher" LaGraine, the notorious mafia lord.

Josh knelt down, his eyes were fixed on Victor's imposing figure, whose body was a canvas of tattoos, depicting scenes of violence and power. His arms were thick and muscular, his hands were adorned with the collection of gold rings.

Victor smiled, he blowed out a stream of smoke from his Cuban cigar, a Cohiba Behike. The smoke curled around his face, adding to his aura of danger.

Victor signal Josh with his finger to come forward, his eyes was fixed on the photo in Josh's hand. Josh handed it over, and Victor's expression darkened as he studied Lyrien's face.

"Ah, yes. I know this one," Victor growled. "He's a thief who once stole from me. A brazen little thing, thinking he could get away with it."

Josh's eyes widened in alarm, but Victor waved a hand dismissively. "Don't worry, Josh. We'll find him, no matter where he is in the world."

Just then, a man rushed in, holding a tablet. "Sir, we've located Erith's whereabouts!"

Victor's eyes snapped to the tablet, and his face became twisted in anger as he watched the video. "Ah, that bastard put my boss into a coma. We've been looking for him everywhere."

Josh pointed to the screen. "That's Lyrien, sir. The one we're looking for."

Victor's eyes narrowed. "So Lyrien and Erith are friends. How...convenient."

He turned to his men. "We'll take them down once and for all. Be ready to move before daybreak. Keep tracing their signal, and send me updates on their location."

The man nodded, still watching the video. "Yes, sir. I'll keep tracking them."

Victor's gaze lingered on the screen, his mind were working overtime with plans for revenge. "We'll show them no mercy."

Victor stood up, his movements became swift and menacing. "Let's move out."

The room was erupted into a flurry of activity as his men opened the garage doors, it was revealing a cache of weapons that made Josh's blood suddenly run cold. Assault rifles, sniper guns, and pistols lay spread out on tables, alongside the boxes of ammunition and explosives.

The air was thick with the tension as Victor's men armed themselves, their faces was set in grim determination. Josh felt a shiver run down his spine as he realized the true extent of Victor's power.

Victor walked out of the clubhouse, Josh were following closely behind. They entered a black SUV, its windows tinted and its engine was purring menacingly.

As they drove away, Victor's phone chimed, breaking the silence. He checked the screen, his eyes narrowing as he read the message.

"Ah, perfect timing," he muttered, a cold smile spreading across his face.

The signal is coming from a house on the outskirts of town. Lyrien, Erith, and Aria are all there.

Josh's heart sank, his mind racing with thoughts of the impending doom that awaited ahead. He knew that Victor would stop at nothing to get Lyrien, and that Lyrien was powerful being and with Aria, the cursed wolf.

The SUV sped through the night, its tires screeching as Victor took a sharp turn. Josh felt a surge of fear as he realized they were closing in on their prey
