They all rushed inside the room, Aria was so anxious and scared to see Lyrien's condition. But as they entered the room, they were met with a surprise. Lyrien was sitting up, his eyes were opened and very alertive. He looked around, taking in the worried faces surrounding him.
Aria was the first to react, she rushed to his side and flinging her arms around him. "Lyrien!" she exclaimed, tears of joy streaming down her face. "You're awake! You're okay!"
Lyrien smiled were weak, his eyes were crinkling at the corners. "Aria, stop crying," he said, his voice been hoarse from disuse. "I'm fine. I'm alive."
Aria couldn't stop, though. She held him so tightly, with her body shaking with sobs. She had been so scared, so convinced that she would lose him. But now, here he was, alive and whole.
Arachne and Eluned exchanged relieved glances, smiling at each other. They had done it. They had saved Lyrien.
As Aria continued to hug Lyrien, Lyrien put his hand on her,he stroked her hair, trying to comfort her. "It's okay, Aria," he whispered. "I'm here. I'm not going anywhere."
Slowly, Aria's tears subsided, replaced by a radiant smile. She pulled back, looking at Lyrien with shining eyes. "I was so scared," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
Lyrien's expression softened. "I know," he said. "But I'm here now. And I'm not going to leave you again."
Erith suddenly burst into the room after hearing the news of Lyrien waking up, his eyes were fixed on Lyrien, they were combined of relief and joy. He rushed to Lyrien's side, pushing Aria aside, and wrapped his arms around him in a tight hug.
"I was so scared, Lyrien!" Erith exclaimed, his voice was shaking with emotion. "I thought I'd never see you again! But thank God you're here, sound and alive!"
Lyrien looked up at Erith, confusion etched on his face. He didn't seem to recognize who Erith was.
Erith pulled back, his eyes were welling up with tears. "Don't you remember me, Lyrien?" he asked, his voice cracking.
Lyrien's expression was apologetic. "I...I'm sorry. I don't..."
Erith's face contorted in a mix of sadness and understanding. "I'm Erith," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. "The wounded wolf you saved from the rogue pack. If it wasn't for you, I would have been killed."
Lyrien's eyes widened as memories began to flood back. He looked at Erith, and this time, recognition dawned on his face.
"Erith!" Lyrien exclaimed, his voice filled with wonder. "I remember now! You're the one I saved!"
Erith smiled, tears streaming down his face. "Yes, Lyrien. You saved me. And I'll never forget it."
Lyrien's expression turned contrite. "I'm so sorry for causing you all worry," he said, his voice filled with remorse.Aria's face softened, but her tone was firm. "Just promise us you'll take care of yourself from now on, Lyrien. No more putting yourself in danger."
Lyrien smiled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "I promise, Aria. I'll take good care of myself from now on."
Arachne's expression suddenly turned serious. "Lyrien, there's something you should know. When you were unconscious, you attacked Aria."
Lyrien's face fell, his eyes widening in horror. "What? Oh no, Aria, I'm so sorry!"
Aria waved her hand dismissively. "I'm fine, Lyrien. Not a scratch on me."
But Eluned's expression was grave. "Lyrien, you're not fully okay. I only managed to shift the toxicity of the poison from your delicate organs, but the poison is still in you."
The room fell silent, all eyes turning to Eluned.
"What does that supposed to mean?" Lyrien asked, his voice was laced with concern.
Eluned's expression turned somber. "For now, Lyrien, you might not be able to wield your power as a wolf. The poison is still coursing through your veins, and it could affect your abilities."
Lyrien's face fell, his eyes were clouded with worry. He looked at his friends, his expression were filled with uncertainty.
Aria's eyes widened in shock too, mirroring the expressions of the others. "How can we get rid of the poison totally?" she asked, her voice laced with concern.
Eluned's expression was grim. "The poison isn't something that can be easily found. It's from...Vulkaria."
Aria's eyes snapped with recognition. "Vulkaria? That's the Erin pack's territory!"
Eluned nodded solemnly. "Yes. Which means that before we can even think of getting the antidote, we need to return to Vulkaria."
The room then fell into a total silent, the weight of Eluned's words sinking into their skull. Lyrien's eyes clouded with worry, while Arachne's expression turned thoughtful.
"Returning to Vulkaria won't be easy," Arachne said finally. "The Erin pack isn't exactly friendly towards outsiders. And with Lyrien's condition...it's a risk we can't afford to take lightly."
Aria's jaw set in determination. "We have to try. We can't just leave Lyrien like this. We need to find that antidote, no matter what it takes."
Erith nodded in agreement. "Aria's right. We can't give up on Lyrien. We'll figure out a way to get to Vulkaria and find that antidote, together."
Lyrien's face became darkened, with his eyes flashing with a mix of fear and determination. "No, we can't go back there. Didn't you know that we're wanted by the Erin pack? Walking back into their territory means walking into death."
Aria's expression turned stubborn. "I don't care, Lyrien. We have to try. It's the only way you can survive."
Lyrien's jaw clenched, his voice rising. "I can never go back to my pack, Aria. Not because of fear of Erin, but because of what I've done. My father forbade me from ever returning, and I won't disobey him, even in death."
Aria's eyes blazed with anger. "But your father is dead now, Lyrien! The rule shouldn't be bothering you anymore!"
Lyrien's face twisted in anguish. "You don't understand, Aria. I can't go back, no matter what. Even if it means...even if it means dying."
Aria's voice rose to a shout. "No matter what you might have done, Lyrien, it's not worth more than your life! You're being stubborn and foolish!"
Lyrien's eyes flashed, his voice cracking with emotion. "Even if it was the fact that I killed my own mother.....
The room was filled with stunned silence, with everyone's eyes fixed on Lyrien in disbelief. Aria was the first to force herself to speak, her voice was shaking with emotion."I don't believe it, Lyrien. I refuse to believe that you're capable of killing your own mother. You're not that kind of person."Lyrien's expression was tortured, his eyes were flashing with pain.Aria continued with her words, her voice firm. "I've heard from Josh that you're searching for the Treasure of Time. That it will reveal everything that happened that night. I won't believe anything until we find it and uncover the truth."Lyrien snorted, his expression skeptical. "You really think something like that exists? I've searched for it everywhere, but it's just a myth. I don't believe it's real."Aria's jaw set in determination. "I don't care what you believe, Lyrien. I won't give up on you. I won't believe that you killed your own mother without solid proof. We'll find that treasure, and we'll clear your na
After a while, Erith patted Lyrien's shoulder, and Lyrien placed the bottle of alcohol down. Erith stood up and walked away, leaving Lyrien alone, sitting and gazing up at the starry sky.Lost in thought, Lyrien stared at the half-breed people around him, enjoying the music and each other's company. He look at how happy they are. After a while, Lyrien stood up and walked inside, he was taking his footsteps so quiet on the floor. He entered the room, finding Aria fast asleep, her face looks so peaceful in the dim light.Lyrien's heart was swelled with love as he gazed at her. He gently kissed her forehead, his lips was barely touching her skin. He then covered her well with the blanket, he then lay down beside her, wrapping his arms around her.As they slept, their bodies were entwined, and their hearts waere beating as one. Lyrien's hand cradled Aria's head, his fingers tangled in her hair. Aria's hand rested on Lyrien's chest, her fingers tracing the contours of his muscles.Their l
Victor and his team arrived at the house, their cars were loaded with ammunition and weapons. The three vehicles pulled up behind quietly, trying not to draw attention to themselves. It was midnight, but the house was still lit up, music and laughter spilling out into the night air.Victor got out of the car, his gun at the ready. He surveyed the house from a distance, his eyes scanning the windows and doors. He signaled to the others, and they emerged from the cars, their own guns drawn. As they prepared to move forward, Josh called out from behind. "Victor, wait! Remember, we need the cursed wolf alive."Victor hesitated, his grip on his gun tightening. He had almost forgotten about that. Their mission was to capture Aria, the half-breed with the cursed wolf's blood, not to kill her.He turned to the others. "Let's move in quietly. We need to take them by surprise. Josh, you're with me. We'll take the front door. Mike, you're with Sarah. You take the back door. And Alex, you're our
Aria PovIn six days I shall be destroyed by the crescent moon.I am cuffed with the metal closing round my wrists, feeding off the energy of my wolf. Before me is the Seven Tower Gate, a dark monolith whose ancient power smothers mine. I'm a mutant-an impending bomb-a danger to my pack. The whispers of 'Born unclean, Threat to self / society,' still follow me. On my face, but also on my flesh, my body littered with scars from my time as their prisoner, their brand. Once each new crescent, and my strength explodes with little care of what it destroys. The gate groaned as it was slowly opened, and a mouldy piece of bread was thrown at my feet. A pitiful gesture to the monster they’d been conditioned to see me as. My father, the infamous Alpha had thrown me in the dephts of the Seven Tower Gate, a prison inside the Organization’s clutches. To the world, Opal had died – a lie spun out of thin air to keep their eyes and ears away. The truth was far less heartwrenching- I was the result of
We looked into each other and felt it hard to get away from his shining gaze. I knew he could feel it the same way. He's indeed my mate.''Whick pack do you come from?' He asked, his eyes gleaming with curiosity and excitement. His gaze lingered on the shackles binding me, and with a boldness that left me breathless, he reached out and touched the metal.I was shocked - his wolf didn't flinch, didn't weaken, as he made contact with the shackles. It was then I realized he was no ordinary thief - he was an Alpha, a powerful leader with a strength that rivaled my own pack's leader.'Alpha,' I whispered, my voice barely audible, my weakness evident. But he didn't seem to notice, his focus fixed on the treasures surrounding us.With the precision of a seasoned thief, he gathered precious jewels and stacked them in his bag, his movements fluid and calculated.Just as he packed all the treasures, he turned back to me with a piercing glare."Let me get you out of this place," he said, his voi
As Lyrien walked back into the dark room, there was a total silent''Why isn't he returning to his pack?'' I asked Josh as my curiosity got piqued.''He's been banned from the pack,'' Josh revealed, his voice full of sorrow.''But...his power is so unparalleled, I thought he was the Alpha of his pack when I first see him' I stammered, struggling to comprehend.''He's a living legend who achieved Alpha status mere years after birth,'' Josh explained, his words were weaving a mysterious tapestry.''This is unbelievable...why would someone be born with such immense power?'' I was surprised''He's been wanted, been forced to roam the lands,'' Josh said.''Then who will inherit his pack?' I pressed on.''His brother, Erin, a leader yet to be proven,'' Josh replied, his eyes clouding with a mix of emotions, his voice trailing off into the night.Soon the midnight hour crept in, and the creaking of the door signaled Lyrien's return.I lay awake, lost in thought, and our eyes met in the dim l
Josh lowered the window, and the soldiers' eyes scanned the interior of the car.One of them approached my side, he knocked on the glass and I felt a col shiver ran through me.''Lower your window,'' he barked with a firm and commanding voice.I was scared, my heart racing with fear of the consequences of being discovered.Would I drag me back to the Seven Tower Gate, that foreboding prison filled with vengeful wraiths? Hell no I really don't want to, I'm scared.Lyrien brought his pack card showing he's from the Red Velvet Pack, and the soldiers demeanor changed in an instant. They saluted hastily with utmost respect.''She's my mate," Lyrien explained, his voice calm and we'll said. ''We're coming from my father's burial. She's still in shock, that's why she's reacting like that"The soldiers apologized profusely and clear road for us make us free to go. Lyrien's timely intervention saved me againI breathed a sigh of relief as the tension dissipated, but my reprieve was short-lived
the world around us melted away, we felt the presence of just two of us , i lost in the enjoyment of our kisses. The kiss was soft and gentle, yet passionate and intense, leaving me feeling like I was floating on air. I had never imagined that a kiss could be so powerful, I was consumed. I was falling in love with him more.we pulled back again, gasping for air, Lyrien's eyes locked onto mine, and I saw the same spark of passion and excitement reflected back at me.I felt the warmth of Lyrien's lips against mine. His lips were soft, gentle, yet passionate. His hands traced my body, tracing a path of fire along my hair, down my neck, and lingering on my waist. I was feeling my skin tingle at his touch. His hand gently cupped my rear, I couldn't suppress the soft moan that escaped my lips.He scooped me into his arms and placed me on the nearby table, clearing it of any obstacles that might hinder our intimate moment. As our lips reunited, I felt a burning desire within me.I felt his h
