MY HUSBAND HATES ME
Daisy arrived home in a merry mood, she had planned to cook lunch and go to the hospital later on,
She had made up her mind to fight for her marriage, if it meant impressing Steve then she would just so she couldn't lose him.
Her heart sank the moment she opened the door to their house,
Steven was going upstairs carrying Lizzy in his arms, she could see from where she stood he was looking down at her,
She blinked the tears away as she called out his name
"Steve, what is happening?" She asked Steve turned to look at her,
"I will join you shortly let me just take Lizzy to the bedroom," he said casually,
Daisy watched as Steve and Lizzy disappeared from her sight to the fourth floor where the bedrooms were located,
Her hands were all shaky as she blinked away more tears, it was evident at this point that things were going from bad to worse, how could Steve bring his mistress to their house?
That was unacceptable, he was crossing the line in terms of disrespecting her.
A while later, Steve came downstairs in a different T-shirt,
"Did you go to report to your father how you almost killed us?" He shamelessly asked, "Or let me guess, he was in on this too", Daisy took a seat at the nearest chair when she felt her legs get weak
"What is she doing here?" She asked,
"She will be staying here until she gets better, do you have a problem with that?"
"Of course, I do, How can you bring your mistress to our house and expect me to be okay with that? I want her out of the house right this moment" She gathered up strength and began to head upstairs but Steve stopped her
"What do you think you are doing?" He asked
"Am going to get her out of our house", Steve's grip on her hand tightened
"You are hurting me" she whimpered
"And am going to do more than hurt you if you get her out of the house" he warned, Daisy wanked him off
"Why are you treating me this way?" She wiped off tears as she keenly stared at him "Tell me, what did I do to deserve this, haven't I been..."
"You haven't been shit Daisy don't try to play innocent, you want to know the truth, I hate you, I hate you so much that it makes me sick seeing your face, I love it when your eyes are sore from crying, I love it when you look this pathetic and desperate and you know why? because I hate you more than anything!" Daisy stared at him with Trembling lips,
Each of Steve's words had pierced through her heart like a sharp knife,
"Steve" she whispered, "Why did you marry me, why did you pretend to love me?" Steve took a few steps until he stood an itch from her"So that I could see you suffer endlessly, Make you cry each day, you know why?, because when you feel pain, I feel happy, I want you to know how it feels to be in a situation where your father will never be able to save you" Daisy could not control her tears as she began to sob shaking her head wishing all this was only her imagination, but it wasn't,
Steve was standing so close to her that she could feel his breath on her face,
"Why do you hate me so much?" She asked gasping for Air but before Steve could respond, they both heard a scream from upstairs,
He immediately rushed there with Daisy following closely behind,
Much to her utter surprise, Steve had put Lizzy in their bedroom,
"What is..."
"Are you okay, what's wrong?" Steve asked as he immediately rushed to Lizzy who was on the floor,
"Are you hurt?" He continued to ask as he inspected her body
"Am okay, I just wanted to use the bathroom but couldn't manage standing up on my own" Lizzy spoke softly
"I will help you" With that being said, Steve carried her in his arms and headed to the bathroom,
Daisy was left standing in the middle of the room dumbfounded her emotions all over the place,
A few seconds later, Steve walked back into the room still carrying Lizzy, and gently put her on the bed
"You couldn't find any other room to put your mistress except our bedroom?" Daisy's entire body was shaking, she was angry and upset at the same time,
"Steve, please get me a glass of water", Lizzy spoke with what looked like a painful sign, Steve immediately rushed her out of the room.
Immediately Steve walked out of the room, Lizzy's face formed a visible grin
"What are you still doing here, get out of our room or do you prefer Steve kick you out?" Daisy had known this woman was pretending to be in a worse condition than she was but she didn't think she would shamelessly not hide it from her
"So you are putting an act just to win my husband over, let me warn you, I will get you out of this house within 24 hours, and not only will you leave the house but our lives as well", Lizzy let out a sarcastic laugh
"You think that is possible, in case you didn't notice, your husband is in love with me, you will witness it yourself when you hear me moaning while he is inside me tonight", Daisy could not contain her anger and held Lizzy by the neck tightly and that was the time Steve walked into the room, the glass cup he was holding in his hands fell to the floor and broke into tiny pieces,
He roughly pushed her to the floor
"You want to kill her!" The expression on his face was deadly
"I did not, she was, I was only" A hot slap silenced Daisy
"Get out of this room before I do something worse," he said,
Daisy slowly walked out of the room without a word,
She went straight outside to her car, this was it, Steve hit her because of that woman, she could not endure this anymore, she was going to court to file for a divorce,
She had been ready to fight for her marriage but there was nothing to fight for anymore, Steve loved Lizzy, there was no reason for her to continue this marriage...
