I strutted into Greyford Holdings. It was a large company, but it wasn’t up to a two-thirds Wesley cooperation; no wonder my father looked down on everyone.

Mr. Greyford had informed me to meet him at his office. My mind was blank on what he wanted; he still hadn’t told me what chance he was talking about, and I hadn’t done anything yet. But I plan on finding out what chance he was talking about.

Greetings came from different directions, but I was too tense to see the good in the morning.

Opening his office, my eyes fell on Mr. Greyford, standing, his back facing me. His phone was glued to his ears.

I settled in the seat across from his. My eyes fixed intensely on him as he ended the call. An uneasy feeling gnawed at me.

Mr. Greyford dropped his phone on the desk before shifting his gaze to me. “Have you seen your father since you came back?” He settled on his seat.

My lips tightened and my brows furrowed. “No,” I responded with a clipped tone.
