Chapter Twenty Nine

She jerked up with a start, oblivious of where she was. She could feel fear sweep through her veins, but her memory was still battered. Her vision was blurry, so she shut her eyes tightly and opened it again, this time slowly.

She noticed she wasn't alone, so she turned around to verify who it was, while clutching the bed tightly.

"Nathan? She asked, surprised to see him. He was the last person she thought to see as she couldn't even remember how she got there.

"You're awake. Oh thank God. I'm so glad you are awake. How do you feel? He asked, walking towards her.

She ignored his question. "Where is this place? Where am I? She asked, visibly shaken.

Nathan paused a little before responding. "Well uhm, this is a hospital. I had to bring you here when you passed out." He answered.

"Passed out? She asked quite confused. That was then the whole incident came back to mind and she realised what had happened. "Oh my God, Oh my God." She said, sobbing quietly.
