Emma's POV

Chapter 8: Heartfelt Confessions

"She reels suffocated by his memories and it's all coming back." I explained. It wasn't a lie, Olivia had told me about that when she arrived from the hospital, right before she got the call from Lance asking to meet up at the abandoned mansion.

"Oh... okay." Alexander responded. "Yes Sir Alexander, she needs space so she could clear up her thoughts but... she'll be fine, she is Olivia after all." Maria explained and Alexander nodded then continued with his meal.

Once Alexander was done eating, he excused himself to go have a shower upstairs first and I let him go with a fake smile. I watched him leave, following his figure up the stairs with my eyes until he disappeared from my view then I waited a while longer until I heard the sound of the door close.
