"Will you marry me, Emma Stone?"

Four words excluding my name.

These four words seemed like a molten led poured into my ears. I was definitely dreaming. My boss, Brandon Black proposed me for marriage.

A marriage!

I blinked my eyes a few times to believe that it wasn't my hallucination after a sleepless night.

"You're not dreaming, Emma so stop gaping at me like a fish." He snapped me out of my still in process thoughts.

"Sir, wha..what are you saying. I mean...do you really mean-" I paused as my cheeks heated up with the mere imagination of being married to my handsome boss who is a dream of all the bachlor girls in the city.

"Yes, I meant it but this isn't what you're thinking, Emma. I want to marry you but not like real couples who love each other and wants to stay together forever." He explained himself and it shattered my heart into million pieces.

I felt like someone made the biggest joke out of me.
