I watched the phone ring before I got up from my seat. With the ringing phone in my hand as I began to walk away from her.

"Hello," the impatient voice of Macho echoed from the phone, laminating the entire study as I realized I was on speaker.

"What is it you want?" I asked annoyed as we agreed that I should be the only one to call him.

"You must really be forgetting something, my friend," he said as I scratched my head in frustration.

"What is it you want? Money? You should be gone by now," I said as I heard a chuckle from the end of the phone.

"listen mr whatever you call yourself, am not doing this on the phone with you, Meet me where we are supposed to meet," he said before ending the call.

"Stupid!" I retorted as I threw the phone on the sofa. This is the thing with small-minded criminals. They never keep their end of the bargain. They always find a way to remind you of how low-life and small-minded they are.
