Chapter 74

...(Luna's pov)

I woke up feeling drowsy, my head throbbing with each passing moment. The soft morning light filtered through the curtains, casting a gentle glow on the room.

With a groan, I forced my eyes to remain open and mustered the strength to sit up, the sheets slipping off my body as I did. A dull ache pulsed in my temples, a constant reminder of what made me end up in this state, what was it even exactly. My memory disheveled and all over the place as I rubbed on my forehead.

As I swung my legs over the side of the bed, the familiar sensation filled my leg, the cool wooden floor beneath my feet. The sensation sent a shiver up my spine, briefly chasing away the remnants of sleep. My bare feet remained on the floor, grounding me into reality.
