CHAPTER FOURTY NINE

The headache had subsided a bit, Amelia noticed and now she felt really hungry.

She had told Jackson that she was going to freshen up before they left the house and to the restaurant for food and he mentioned that he was going to do the same.

She had nearly almost kissed him, she thought with her hand reaching out to calm her beating heart.

One minute they had been talking about hangovers and the irritating part of waking up with a pounding headache and the next she had… they had…

She heaved a sigh, her breath shaky as she gazed at the dress he had supplied for her. She had made him swear that it was Sophia’s and he hadn’t kept her clothes all this while.

There had been laughter in his eyes when he showed her the label he had removed from the dress before giving it to her and it had fit perfectly surprisingly.

A knock on the door interrupted her; she slipped her legs into the sandals she had worn to the club and opened the door, a smile gracing her face.
