CHAPTER FIFTY

The breakfast had gone well and they were back at Jackson’s home.

Amelia could notice the shift between them, they looked quite comfortable with each other and she could think that it was because of them sharing a meal and maybe what she had said.

She could feel the renewed purpose in Jackson and was happy she could help him because there was something about him.

She had agreed to go with him to see his father but first she had to stop at her house and dress appropriately for the occasion.

How did one meet the father of her boss? Who was her friend and maybe she had a crush on?

There was no answer to that of course so she wasn’t sure she knew exactly what to wear, except it could not be too revealing. She wanted the man to have a good first impression of her.
