WHAT MR. WOOD?

Declan sneers and laughs. "Lucien doesn't seem to mind. They can keep whoever they think Lucien is as long as he maintains his dominance! After all, if everyone knows who he is, what will be used for entertainment? And who will want to go up against him? At the very least, his known identity attracts people like Dusk, who eventually die!"

"Wow," Jack exclaims. He'd like to question Lucien. He's curious about his true identity. But something in him holds him back, and all he can do is smile and nod.

"You overlooked my question, Jack. Do you know who Phil Smith is? You sounded as if you did."

"I sincerely apologize, Mr. Wood!" He clears his throat and smiles nervously. "Phil Smith is the current helmsman of the Smiths family, a middle-class family living on the outskirts of Richmond. They are not widely known. But are, however, still growing. And I've heard they are aiming at partnering with Shadow Worldwide Company! If they do, I'm sure they'll reach new heights!"
