Chapter 76-Kidnap

Jacob wasn’t surprised when the policemen came to their house and looked for his daughter. He joined them to give a statement. When he found out who the lawyer of the unknown husband of his captive woman was, his head suddenly hurt. Only the driver and the woman’s lawyer were there to face everyone.

Jacob can’t tell them that his daughter is missing or show the message he received from an unknown person. If the opponent can use a connection, he can do it too.

“I’ll make sure your daughter’s name won’t be implicated in the case when you trade cards with me.” Jacob re-read the last message from the person he didn’t recognize.

Cloud smiled as he waited for Jacob’s decision. He was still at the precinct to hear their side.

Jacob looked at the woman in handcuffs before speaking. “I don’t know that girl. She is not my daughter’s friend either so what she said is not true.”

“As long as your daughter doesn’t show up, she’s still one of the prime suspects, sir,” Cloud reminded the gentleman
