Book 6: Chapter 51-Admission

“Is there a problem?” Dean asked when his friend stopped.

Clara quickly looked at her friend and shook her head before taking another step.

Aldrin gasped as he heard footsteps away from the door.

Alexander laughed at what his cousin was doing, and he had been peering through the peephole for a while. As if an outsider could see him through the jolen-sized hole in the door.

“They’ve left, so I’m leaving too. If you notice anything strange, let me know right away.”

“Yes, boss!” Alexander even saluted his cousin.

Aldrin went straight home to their house. After going inside, he found Beatrix in the living room. He would have avoided her, and he was in no mood to talk to her, but his son was with her.

“Daddy, I miss you!” Tyler greeted his father happily.

Beatrix just stayed where she was sitting and showed the man that she was not happy that he had just come home.
