Book 5: Chapter 25-Wine

Patricia did not leave her niece’s side when the doctor arrived. Dark is also there and seems to want to make sure the doctor does the right thing.

“There is no problem with her, and it looks like she has used cream on her skin, so she itches,” announced the doctor.

Patricia breathed a sigh of relief, and nothing serious happened to her niece. When she looked at Dark, she couldn’t read what he was thinking.

Dark followed the doctor when he left the room.

“Aunt, I’m sleepy,” Cherry said with her eyes closed.

“Wait a minute! Don’t go to sleep yet, and you still have to drink milk.” Patricia hurried out of the room to make her niece a glass of milk.

In the library, the doctor shook his head when he looked at Dark. “It’s a good thing you only mixed a little with the food and you have medicine ready.”

Dark sighed violently and slumped down in the chair. “Will the result of what I asked you to do last long?”

“This is the fastest thing that I’ve ever done.”
