The next day, Dark left the house early, but he made sure someone would watch over Cherry. He saw Dalia already awake, and she greeted him.

“You’re leaving? Aren’t you going to wait for my niece to wake up?” Patricia asked, smiling.

“I have an important meeting today, and I might be home later tonight. You guys will take care of her and Natasha as well.”
