Olivia's POV:

I sat on my bed, debating whether to call Jay or not.

After learning about Debby's connection to Damon and now to Jay, I felt relieved, but at the same time, I wanted to know how he was doing. He was still Micah's father, whether I liked it or not, and eventually, he would either find her or she would seek him out. I needed to resolve everything with him before that could happen.

I glanced at Alec's cell phone for a moment, then dialed Jay's number.

I didn't want Alec to question me about what I was doing or why I had his cell phone, which is why I made the call in private, in my room.

After spending another night together, he went to see Damon and left his cell phone behind. It wasn't a good decision to take it without asking him, but I had to get in touch with Jay.

"Hello," Jay's voice came through, and I sighed in relief that he had answered.

"It's me," I said softly.

"Olivia!" he exclaimed.

"Yes, it's me," I replied.

"Where are you? Are you alright?" he ask
