Chapter 130: Tell A Lie Instead.

Jasmine's POV

"Is she serious?" I questioned rhetorically because I knew Rylee so much that I could tell when she was serious or not.

The Rylee I saw in there was not having fun in any way, matter of fact, she was dead serious, and so were her threats. I needed to do things my own way, even though I knew it could cause trouble for us in the future. Perhaps, Rylee was the push I needed to do the right thing.

I remained immobile in my car, as I merely clutched tightly on the wheel, with my palm thickly creased with sweat.

Even in my fully air-conditioned car, I was feeling suffocated. It was over ten minutes since I left Rylee, but I was still in my car and outside her compound. For some reason, I didn't seem to care if she walked out and met me there.

"Gosh!" I sighed loudly, remembering the three-day ultimatum she gave me. To her, she was not just concerned for me, but for the kids and Asher as well.
