In the kitchen, I stirred up a mix of soy sauce, and in the other pan, there was a thick rice pudding cooker on a simmer.

Since my father had major surgery, it was suggested that he only eat something light, and giving him steaks and chili and bread was out of context.

Of course, while making theirs, I had a larger pot of chocolate pudding for my four babies with lots of milk, and it was because of their big sweet tooth.

"Mum?!" Ethan exclaimed as he rushed to me and hugged my legs.

"Hey, boy," I ruffled his hair, aware that he was only her to see how long he'd have to wait for him to satisfy his vanity.

He was one heck of a foodie and regardless, he was the smallest amongst all three of them. He leaned in further, poking my thigh with his chin.

"I'm hungry." He groaned, hitting the nail on the head.

"I know, my baby," I pouted. "Food is almost ready, and guess what mum is making." I teased him. "You get an extra portion if you get it right," I added a price.
