Asher's POV

"What the heck are you doing here?!" I poured my frustration on the maid.

"Sorry, sir," She bowed her head slightly.

"I asked a damn question, and this isn't the response." I groaned again.

"I wanted to know if you're ready to get served, I didn't mean to startle you." She apologized again.

Like her silly apology would change a thing. I couldn't help but wonder how they cope with Sebastian as their alpha. It must be tiring.

"Go get me, Jasmine," I instructed her. "She's in the woods," I said precisely because Sebastian had left a tip.

"Alright, sir." She nodded. "What about the food?"

"Get rid of it... Better still eat it." I sighed.
