Author’s POV

“I don’t just know what your problem is.” Nora's brows were furrowed, and her mouth was set in a thin line. Alicia's nostrils were flared, and her teeth were clenched.

Alicia curled her lips up like a dog about to growl. “You are my problem, Nora!” Alicia snapped, pointing a finger at her. "You have always been my problem, ever since you agreed to be my surrogate nine years ago. You think I don't know what you are up to? Huh?” Alicia shook her head. “…I know you are here to take my place, and you have been seducing my husband for years, you are so fucking obsessed with me that you want my life and everything I have, you want my husband and also my twins, don’t you?” She spat the words out with venom, her voice rising with each accusation.

Nora laughed, a cold and bitter sound. She shook her head, and rolled her eyes. "I think you have got it all wrong, Princess. I know George is not your husband yet and trust me, I don’t want him, I don’t even love him. He is nothing t

Author’s POV Mrs. Williams clenched her teeth as she yanked the bowl of ice cream from the boy’s grasp. He was a scrawny little thing, with messy dark hair and a smug grin on his face. He had sneaked into her kitchen and helped himself to her favorite dessert, leaving a trail of sticky evidence all over the place. The skin between her eyes crinkled as she glared at him. “Who are you, little boy? What are you doing in my kitchen this early in the morning? Are you a thief?” “I’m not a thief, you old lady!” The boy retorted, pulling the bowl back with surprising strength. His gray eyes sparkled with mischief and defiance. “And you shouldn’t get so worked up over a bowl of ice cream. It’s not like you are a kid and you are already fat enough!” Anger flared hot and sudden at his insults, and a gasp left her lips. How dare this brat insult her like that? She raised her hand to slap him, but before she could, the sounds of footsteps filled her ears. She turned and saw a group of people

Author’s POV “Darling, you look lovely today, I almost didn’t recognize you.” Mr. Williams said to his wife in a sweet tone, ignoring Geroge’s impatient glare. “Where have you been all this time? I looked everywhere for you, I was about to ask the guards to go look for you.” She pursed her lips and refused to answer him, instead, she fixed her gaze on George and asked in a curious voice, “Huh, the woman with the twins. Hmm, was she the surrogate Alicia hired years ago? And are those children really my grandkids?” George clenched his jaw and answered with a straight face. “Yes, they are. And like I said in the meeting, she is not here because she is just a surrogate. She is my true mate, whom the moon goddess has chosen for me, and I want to marry her. If you give me your blessing, I will right away.” Mr. Williams snorted. He looked at George with contempt and disbelief. “Don’t be ridiculous, George. You know I don’t approve of your choices, and I know you are talking about your mo

George’s POV I took a deep breath and told him everything. From how I was no longer the alpha to how they didn’t want me to marry the woman of my dreams. The alpha listened to me with a shocked and sympathetic expression on his face. He shook his head, took a drag of his cigarette, and let it out in the air. “Wow…that’s rough. I’m sorry to hear that. I can’t believe your parents turned their backs on you and took your brother’s side. As far as I know, you are the best alpha for the Darkfire pack, your brother wouldn’t last there for a month, I promise you that.” The alpha remarked. I couldn’t tell if he was lying because I barely even knew him. And I don’t want to know him I just want him to help me out. “Thank you for saying that, it means a lot to me. So, will you help me? Will you join me in my fight against my brother?” I questioned, feeling my heart pound against my ribs like a hammer. He nodded and handed the cigarette butt to the she-wolf standing next to him. “Of course, m

George’s POV There was a small canoe in the middle of the lake, surrounded by light lamps that floated on the water. The lamps cast a soft glow on the surface, creating a romantic and magical atmosphere. It was beautiful. “Oh my god,” Her mouth dropped open, but she quickly recovered and put on a cold face. “Did you bring me here to show me this? What is this supposed to mean?” She questioned, her voice harsh and defensive. “I brought you here because of this…” My heart instantly squeezed at the sound of my voice, which grew increasingly panicked with each message. I went down on one knee and took out the ring box from my pocket. I opened it and revealed the six-carat brilliant ring. My cheeks warmed when I looked up at her and said the words I had been rehearsing in my head for weeks. “Nora, I know we had a rocky start, and I was a total jerk to you, if I were you, I would never talk to me again. I must admit, I never thought of looking for you after all these years because you r

Nora’s POV George’s proposal left me cold. I walked away from him, contempt burning in my chest. A tightness formed in my chest and spread until it choked me with the memories best left forgotten. How dare he ask me to marry him? After all he put me through in the past and treated me like a slut. I don’t give a damn what Alicia has to say to him, they both deserve each other. The garden was my destination, and the safety of my sons was the only reason I stayed in this pack. But I still need to get them out of here as soon as possible, before they are taken away from me. A guard was talking to Jack when I turned the corner. He saw me and dismissed the guard. He walked towards me with a concerned look on his face. "Um, what are you doing here? Aren’t you supposed to be with George?” He inquired, his voice low. “Why should I be with him? Oh, I almost forgot that you are his beta. He must have told you about his shitty proposal, but that’s the least of my problems right now, I am goin

Nora’s POV One tear slipped over the rim of my lower eyelids, over my eyelashes, and down my cheek. I let go of the hands of my sons and turned towards the path of the garden where the footsteps were coming from. But instead, the footsteps sounded behind me. Heavy, angry footsteps. Fear hit me in the belly and shot through my veins like Mercury as I looked up, only to see—Alpha George. He was the last person I wanted to see right now. He strode into the garden, his dark hair slicked back and his gray eyes blazing with anger. He was wearing a night robe that hugged his muscular frame. A snarky grin spread over his lips as he stopped a few feet away from us and pointed at the twins. “What the hell do you mean, Leo is their father?!?” He barked like a bulldog. “They are my sons, Little Bird, my own flesh and blood!” I drew breath to answer him, but when I tried to speak, no words came out of my mouth, just strange wet sounds. My feet were cemented to the ground as I watched in horror

Nora’s POV “Aren’t we going to take anything? Because we are going to need supplies if we want to survive out there,” Asher asked as we ran across the lawn. Pain throbbed and burned in my ankle, but I suppressed the discomfort. “No, we don’t need to take anything from these heartless people,” I answered. “We have to go back to that motel and—” Matteo cut in. “No! Mom, I don’t want to go back to that cheap motel, it’s hell there. I would rather stay here even if I don’t want to see that man who calls himself our father.” Matteo whined and I clucked my tongue against my teeth. “You should have at least let me finish. We are going back to the motel to get my car, and after that, we are going to get your real grandmother and take her out of this pack for good.” I explained. Surprise flickered in their eyes, followed by a happy smile. I felt awful for not telling them about my mother, not even once, but I thought it would be best to hide it from them because of my dark past. With Mat

Her heart was pounding against her ribs like a hammer. She had something to tell him and hadn’t seen him all morning. She waited for a few minutes, but there was no answer. She knocked again, louder this time, hoping he was not asleep. The door opened, but not to reveal Rick. An omega, a redhead, blue-eyed one, greeted her instead. She wore nothing but a bathrobe, and her eyes were puzzled, as if she was not expecting anyone. A rush of jealousy and anger flooded Alicia. Who was this omega? What was she doing in Rick’s room? “Who are—” she opened her mouth to ask, but before she could say anything, a hand came from inside the room and wrapped around the girl’s waist. It was—it was Rick’s hand. He came into view, wearing only a pair of jeans. He stood next to the omega, his arm still around her. His eyes widened, then narrowed, then

AUTHOR’S POV A year later, A year had passed since Nora lost Leo, bringing her to this moment, seated in the dressing room, staring at herself in a wedding dress. Mrs. Williams, who had once been a wicked mother, now stood before her, offering jewels as tokens of acceptance and regret. The nightstand was filled with daily gifts from her and her husband, each one a silent plea for forgiveness. Nora’s gaze lingered on the jewels, her voice soft but strong. “I cannot accept these anymore,” she remarked. “Like I said before, I have already forgiven you a long time ago. These gifts aren’t necessary.” Regret formed a jagged rock in Mrs. Williams's stomach, and emotion flickered across her face. “These gifts are my punishment,” she declared. “I did a lot of awful things in the past, and I forgot that love doesn’t care about social status. The moon goddess herself would agree to that; that is why she made you my son’s mate. And no one is more suited for him than you.” The knock at the do

AUTHOR’S POV The dark hall was covered in shadows and sorrow, a sea of black clothing as mourners gathered to pay their final respects. Nora stood by Leo’s grave, her hand trembling as she placed a lily on top of the polished wood of his coffin. Leo’s parents, their faces covered with grief, stood beside her, each adding their own floral tribute. Nora turned to them, but her eyes pointed at the ground, the guilt still weighing on her. She dropped to her knees and whispered, “I’m the reason your son is gone. I took him away from you. If he hadn’t saved me, he would still be here.” But Leo’s parents would hear none of it. His mother lifted Nora gently, her voice soft yet firm. “No, honey. It was not your doing. It was the will of the moon goddess, and our son chose to save you.” His father added, “You must live for him now. Make his sacrifice meaningful.” A smile lit up his broad face, softening his harsh features. Overwhelmed by their kindness, Nora felt a tear streak down her fac

AUTHOR’S POV The afternoon sun streamed through the open windows, brightening the inside of the lab. Nora sat on the makeshift bed of clothes, her stomach growling in protest as she awaited George’s return with food. Jack busied himself with the windows, letting in light to compensate for the lack of electricity. Nora’s voice broke the silence. “Jack, where did you and George disappear to for all those months? And why did you guys make everyone think you were dead?” A masculine chuckle escaped his lungs. “We didn’t fake our deaths, Nora.” He said, shaking his head. “It was a bizarre twist of fate. We were attacked on our way out of the pack, and now that I think about it, the attacker was probably Dante.” Her mind raced through a thousand questions and possibilities. “That does make sense. Dante would want George out of the way to make kidnapping the kids easier. He must have seen him as a threat.” She muttered and frowned a little. “I still can’t believe George left the pack behi

But the cold was relentless, and soon the heat that followed was just as unbearable. Discomfort climbed up her spine, and heat scorched her skin. “I know you have a boyfriend, but we are in our heat period, and he is not here. You will have to ask your mate for help.” Ariana suggested in her head. “How can you suggest such a thing? If I ask him for help, he will have to have sex with me. And I can’t... I am with Leo now, and I can’t cheat on him,” she replied, with emotion roughing the syllables. “I know you don’t want to cheat on him. But this is a matter of life and death, you will die if you don’t let him help.” Ariana said in a sad tone. “I…I can’t. I just can’t. I know how much it hurts to be cheated on, I have been there a f

AUTHOR’S POV The day dawned crisp and clear as the sun poured through the streets. Alicia stormed into the grocery store, her presence as chilling as the ski mask that covered her face. The assault rifle in her grip was not just a weapon, but a representation of her desire to kill. “Put your hands where I can see them,” she hissed at the store owner, who obeyed with a tremble. “Please don’t kill me, I just opened, I haven’t earned any money!” He pleaded, but his plea for mercy fell on deaf ears. A cold laugh escaped Alicia’s throat and echoed in the cramped space. “I don’t want your money, old man, I just need to grab some supplies.” She replied and obtained a coil of rope from one of the shelves. She kept the man caged in the sights of her rifle as she closed the distance. “Stay here and don’t make a sound, if you try to act smart, I will have no option but to kill you,” she threatened as she used the rope to tie his hands behind him, securing him to the shelf like a display of h

Mr. Williams looked up, a dark smile playing on his lips, shadowed by the room’s gloom. “These are petitions I gathered from the pack members. I’m securing our son’s legacy; I am no longer turning my back on him,” he replied, sincere regret laced in his voice as he looked her in the eyes. “I shouldn’t have... I shouldn’t have supported the council. Rick must be Alpha again. I cannot let our line fade; after all, I went through it to keep it in our family.” She shook her head, her hand darting out to seize the document from his grasp. “Stop this madness,” she begged, her voice rising. “You are losing yourself in this grief. Guards hustled across the yard, their faces covered with concern, while the urgent wail of alarms pierced the air. He watched closely as two guards emerged, dragging a protesting couple out of the prison’s grand gates. “Come back another time! Visiting hours are over!” One guard barked, tossing the woman’s bag to her feet with a dismissive flick of his wrist. The woman, her face painted with frustration and desperation, clutched her bag tightly. “Why are you being so unfair? Visiting hours end at 10 p.m., and it’s only 7 p.m.,” she pleaded, her voice cracking. “I haven’t seen my niece in ages! AUTHOR’S POV The morning sun hit George’s face, and his heart was heavy as he paced through the studio. His hands carefully placed his personal items into a mini bag. The walls of the rooms whispered memories of laughter and learning, and though he was firm in his decision, a part of him mourned the awaiting goodbye to the children he had come to adore. The sound of footsteps snapped him back to reality. He peeked outside his room to see his boss walking purposefully towards the office. He took a deep breath and secured the zipper on his bag. A pit formed in his stomach as he grasped the resignation letter that lay on the nightstand. George entered his boss's office just in time to overhear a phone conversation about him. “Like I said earlier, it’s unprofessional for a teacher to date a parent of the kid he teaches.” His boss said in a serious tone. “I’m sorry, but no amount of money can make me help you. I respect the privacy of my teachers and stay out of their personal lives."

  • THE ALPHA'S REJECTED TWINS   CH. 142 THE SHOWER

AUTHOR’S POV They stepped into the shower area, and the sounds of bare feet stepping on the tile were getting louder and louder as they made it under one of the shower heads. The shower area itself was just a single room, blocked by a small door. There was no cover between the five or six showers, so they both had plenty of space to mess around and get each other clean. The whole shower room was tiled, so the two would have to try hard not to fall over because of how slippery everything was. “I have always wanted to do this with someone, but I haven’t had a proper girlfriend in a long time.” His voice was silky as velvet. The guard pushed Alicia against the cold tiled wall, his body squishing up against hers. Her nipples were hard and almost carved into his chest, but he didn't care. Her breasts squeezed and contoured around his chest as they both continued kissing. Their legs were moving constantly, trying to find a good footing, before eventually finding a good rhythm.
