Alpha George’s POV

The phone slipped from my hand and hit the floor. Thomas had just hung up on me, the bastard was getting on my nerves, and he just called me to taunt me. I was standing on the balcony of my room, trying to calm myself down. I breathed in the fresh air, but it didn’t help. I felt like a caged animal, ready to explode. My eyes were red, and my veins were bulging. I was livid.

I picked up the phone and checked for any damage. It was a new phone I got this morning after destroying a lot of phones due to my anger issues the other day.

“We should be out looking for Nora right now, just because we have stopped feeling pain doesn’t mean she is okay.” Knight’s voice boomed in my head after a long time.

“I know, but you can’t just show up out of nowhere and boss me around, the meeting will be happening in a few hours,” I replied, and he let out a loud growl.

“…I believe our mate is more important than that stupid meeting for power,” Knight remarked, and I cut him off bef

Alpha George’s POV Anger and adrenaline were pumping in my veins. I wanted to rip his throat out, but I knew I had to control myself. I had to be a leader, not a beast. I stood up from the throne and glared at him. “You have crossed the line. How dare you insult me and my family? You have no right to question or doubt me. Because you have no idea what you are talking about." I took a deep breath and continued, “My mate and sons are real, and they are coming. And I won’t let anyone hurt them or take them away from me. Not you, not anyone. Do you understand?” My eyes drifted to the sea of faces, some of them were nodding in agreement, and some were frowning in doubt. I looked at the door of the room, hoping for a miracle. I was hoping to see Jack walk in with the twins, but the door remained closed, and the silence was deafening. I leaned back on my throne next to Rick, a smug smile tugging at my lips. I had just delivered a witty comeback to the leader. He looked like he wanted to

Author’s POV George ignored his father and brother and tuned them out. He walked into the room and headed straight to the pile of cash that was stacked on the floor. It was a tempting sight—a mountain of green bills that could buy him anything he wanted but not the throne. Jack followed him and helped him fill a bag of bills. George grasped one of the bags and opened it wide. He scooped up handfuls of money and stuffed them into the bag. “One bag cost about a hundred thousand dollars.” He said, his eyes gleaming. “We need about a hundred bags because that prick demanded ten million dollars.” Jack nodded and grabbed another bag. He mimicked George’s actions and filled the bag with cash. They worked quickly and quietly, hoping to avoid attention. But they didn’t go unnoticed. Rick and Mr. Williams spotted them and glared at them. Rick’s eyes flashed with anger, and his blood went cold as he saw that his brother was stealing from the pack, taking what belonged to him. He clenched his

Author’s POV Thomas saw a big brown wolf running out of the bushes, heading straight for him. His heart skipped a beat, and before he could react. He felt a sharp pain in his arm as the wolf bit down on it, drawing blood. He screamed and pulled out the arrow from his arm, tossing it aside. He growled and shifted into his wolf form, his clothes falling to the grassy floor. He fixed his eyes on the brown wolf, who was circling him, ready for another attack. “Who are you? Are you George? I didn’t know you had the balls to come and see me without money, you are as brave as they say,” Thomas remarked, baring his razor-sharp teeth. The brown wolf didn’t answer. It pounced on Thomas, knocking him down. They both started fighting nonstop, biting and clawing at each other. The fight was fast and furious, with droplets of blood spilling on the floor. Thomas and the wolf rolled on the ground, dodging and striking each other. Nora couldn’t see what was happening, but she could hear everything—

Author’s POV Rick felt a rush of pride as he looked around the lavish dining room, where the table was laden with mouth-watering dishes from different cuisines. He had worked so hard to become the new alpha of the Darkfire pack, and he wanted to celebrate his success with a grand housewarming party tonight. His eyes drifted to Alicia, who was sitting next to him, and he felt a swarm of butterflies taking flight in his stomach. She was wearing a simple but elegant dress that hugged her curves and accentuated her flawless skin. Her long blonde hair was tied in a loose bun, revealing her delicate neck and shoulders. Her green eyes had a hint of sadness, but she was still the most beautiful woman he had ever seen, and he wanted her to be his Luna. He ignored the constant buzzing of his phone, which was probably from his pack members or other alphas who wanted to congratulate him or challenge him. “Aren’t you going to answer that?” Mr. Williams asked him, nodding at his phone. Author’s POV Alicia strolled into the sunny courtyard of the packhouse, heading for the garage, when she spotted a car driving into the courtyard. She was about to walk away when she narrowed her eyes at the car and saw Nora and Leo in it. Leo was driving, while Nora was sleeping on the seat next to him with her hand on her cheek. “Is that... Nora?” Those words escaped Alicia’s lips as her legs froze and her eyes widened in shock. She hadn’t seen Nora in a long time, and she knew her coming to the packhouse after all these years only meant one thing—that she and George were together now, but she tried to convince herself that it was just a figment of her imagination. She watched as Leo drove the car to the garage and followed them as if her life depended on it. With her heart pounding and a lingering feeling in her heart, she couldn’t wait to meet her twins. As she arrived in the large garage, she was panting out of breath. Her gaze fell to Leo, who was helping Nora out of the car

Nora’s POV My stomach somersaulted as I looked into the eyes of Alpha George. He was sitting in his car, smirking at me like he had just won a prize. Jack was next to him, but he looked nervous and uncomfortable. They were both staring at me like they had seen a ghost, and I hated it. “Get in, Little Bird,” George said, opening the door and gesturing for me to enter. There was no extra seat in the front, but he didn’t care. He was ready to kick Jack out and make him sit in the back. A peculiar twist knotted my stomach, and I ignored his invitation. The muscles in his face flexed and tightened. “…How did you manage to escape from Thomas? And what are you doing in the street? Did you go to my packhouse to look for me?” He bombarded me with questions. A chuckle floated from my belly. “How did I get out of Thomas’s clutches?” I repeated his question, confused and frustrated. “What am I doing in the middle of the road?” I spat out his words, feeling a metaphorical fist punch me in the

Nora’s POV The door opened, and someone walked in. I turned my head, hoping and longing to see Alpha George. But it wasn’t him. It was—it was Leo. He scanned the room with a puzzled expression, then locked eyes with Alpha Rick. “Hey, Rick, what are you doing here?” Leo smirked. “Are you trying to steal George’s new girlfriend too?” “I am not—” I tried to shout that I wasn’t George’s girlfriend and that I was just here due to circumstances, but no one paid attention to me. Rick snorted and said, “Don’t be ridiculous, brother. I was just here to see Dr. Laura. Besides, Alicia is still the one I want, but she is too stupid to see that an alpha like me is the best option for her and that George will never take her back.” A snarky grin spread over his lips. “Although George and I don’t get along that much, I know how much he hates cheating and will never forgive her.” My stomach rumbled, perhaps that was the reason he called off the engagement, but I couldn’t help but wonder who she c

Nora’s POV The towel wrapped around my wet hair felt heavy and damp. I stared at the mirror, examining the bruises and scratches that covered my body. They were living marks of the hell I went through because of Thomas. A knock on the bathroom door startled me. I opened it, hoping to see George with my sons. Instead, I saw Dr. Laura. She smiled like a crocodile and handed me a set of blue pajamas. “Here, put these on. They are clean and comfortable, I am sure they are your size," she said. The sight of the pajamas made me feel uneasy. I had been wearing a pink pajama for days, and now she was giving me another fucking one. “Um, thanks,” I mumbled, taking the pajamas from her. The skin between my eyes crinkled as I stared at her. “How long is he going to take to bring my sons to me? It’s been hours, for fuck’s sake.” She sighed and looked at me with pity in her eyes. “There is nothing to worry about, your sons are safe with him, he is their father, after all, not a monster.” “The

AUTHOR’S POV A year later, A year had passed since Nora lost Leo, bringing her to this moment, seated in the dressing room, staring at herself in a wedding dress. Mrs. Williams, who had once been a wicked mother, now stood before her, offering jewels as tokens of acceptance and regret. The nightstand was filled with daily gifts from her and her husband, each one a silent plea for forgiveness. Nora’s gaze lingered on the jewels, her voice soft but strong. “I cannot accept these anymore,” she remarked. “Like I said before, I have already forgiven you a long time ago. These gifts aren’t necessary.” Regret formed a jagged rock in Mrs. Williams's stomach, and emotion flickered across her face. “These gifts are my punishment,” she declared. “I did a lot of awful things in the past, and I forgot that love doesn’t care about social status. The moon goddess herself would agree to that; that is why she made you my son’s mate. And no one is more suited for him than you.” The knock at the do

Leo’s parents, their faces covered with grief, stood beside her, each adding their own floral tribute. Nora turned to them, but her eyes pointed at the ground, the guilt still weighing on her. She dropped to her knees and whispered, “I’m the reason your son is gone. I took him away from you. If he hadn’t saved me, he would still be here.” But Leo’s parents would hear none of it. His mother lifted Nora gently, her voice soft yet firm. “No, honey. It was not your doing. It was the will of the moon goddess, and our son chose to save you.” His father added, “You must live for him now. Make his sacrifice meaningful.” A smile lit up his broad face, softening his harsh features. Overwhelmed by their kindness, Nora felt a tear streak down her fac

AUTHOR’S POV The afternoon sun streamed through the open windows, brightening the inside of the lab. Nora sat on the makeshift bed of clothes, her stomach growling in protest as she awaited George’s return with food. Jack busied himself with the windows, letting in light to compensate for the lack of electricity. Nora’s voice broke the silence. “Jack, where did you and George disappear to for all those months? And why did you guys make everyone think you were dead?” A masculine chuckle escaped his lungs. “We didn’t fake our deaths, Nora.” He said, shaking his head. “It was a bizarre twist of fate. We were attacked on our way out of the pack, and now that I think about it, the attacker was probably Dante.” Her mind raced through a thousand questions and possibilities. “That does make sense. Dante would want George out of the way to make kidnapping the kids easier. He must have seen him as a threat.” She muttered and frowned a little. “I still can’t believe George left the pack behi

But the cold was relentless, and soon the heat that followed was just as unbearable. Discomfort climbed up her spine, and heat scorched her skin. “I know you have a boyfriend, but we are in our heat period, and he is not here. You will have to ask your mate for help.” Ariana suggested in her head. “How can you suggest such a thing? If I ask him for help, he will have to have sex with me. And I can’t... I am with Leo now, and I can’t cheat on him,” she replied, with emotion roughing the syllables. “I know you don’t want to cheat on him. But this is a matter of life and death, you will die if you don’t let him help.” Ariana said in a sad tone. “I…I can’t. I just can’t. I know how much it hurts to be cheated on, I have been there a f

AUTHOR’S POV The day dawned crisp and clear as the sun poured through the streets. Alicia stormed into the grocery store, her presence as chilling as the ski mask that covered her face. The assault rifle in her grip was not just a weapon, but a representation of her desire to kill. “Put your hands where I can see them,” she hissed at the store owner, who obeyed with a tremble. “Please don’t kill me, I just opened, I haven’t earned any money!” He pleaded, but his plea for mercy fell on deaf ears. A cold laugh escaped Alicia’s throat and echoed in the cramped space. “I don’t want your money, old man, I just need to grab some supplies.” She replied and obtained a coil of rope from one of the shelves. She kept the man caged in the sights of her rifle as she closed the distance. “Stay here and don’t make a sound, if you try to act smart, I will have no option but to kill you,” she threatened as she used the rope to tie his hands behind him, securing him to the shelf like a display of h

Mr. Williams looked up, a dark smile playing on his lips, shadowed by the room’s gloom. “These are petitions I gathered from the pack members. I’m securing our son’s legacy; I am no longer turning my back on him,” he replied, sincere regret laced in his voice as he looked her in the eyes. “I shouldn’t have... I shouldn’t have supported the council. Rick must be Alpha again. I cannot let our line fade; after all, I went through it to keep it in our family.” She shook her head, her hand darting out to seize the document from his grasp. “Stop this madness,” she begged, her voice rising. “You are losing yourself in this grief. Guards hustled across the yard, their faces covered with concern, while the urgent wail of alarms pierced the air. He watched closely as two guards emerged, dragging a protesting couple out of the prison’s grand gates. “Come back another time! Visiting hours are over!” One guard barked, tossing the woman’s bag to her feet with a dismissive flick of his wrist. The woman, her face painted with frustration and desperation, clutched her bag tightly. “Why are you being so unfair? Visiting hours end at 10 p.m., and it’s only 7 p.m.,” she pleaded, her voice cracking. “I haven’t seen my niece in ages! AUTHOR’S POV The morning sun hit George’s face, and his heart was heavy as he paced through the studio. His hands carefully placed his personal items into a mini bag. The walls of the rooms whispered memories of laughter and learning, and though he was firm in his decision, a part of him mourned the awaiting goodbye to the children he had come to adore. The sound of footsteps snapped him back to reality. He peeked outside his room to see his boss walking purposefully towards the office. He took a deep breath and secured the zipper on his bag. A pit formed in his stomach as he grasped the resignation letter that lay on the nightstand. George entered his boss's office just in time to overhear a phone conversation about him. “Like I said earlier, it’s unprofessional for a teacher to date a parent of the kid he teaches.” His boss said in a serious tone. “I’m sorry, but no amount of money can make me help you. I respect the privacy of my teachers and stay out of their personal lives."

AUTHOR’S POV They stepped into the shower area, and the sounds of bare feet stepping on the tile were getting louder and louder as they made it under one of the shower heads. The shower area itself was just a single room, blocked by a small door. There was no cover between the five or six showers, so they both had plenty of space to mess around and get each other clean. The whole shower room was tiled, so the two would have to try hard not to fall over because of how slippery everything was. “I have always wanted to do this with someone, but I haven’t had a proper girlfriend in a long time.” His voice was silky as velvet. The guard pushed Alicia against the cold tiled wall, his body squishing up against hers. Her nipples were hard and almost carved into his chest, but he didn't care. Her breasts squeezed and contoured around his chest as they both continued kissing. Their legs were moving constantly, trying to find a good footing, before eventually finding a good rhythm.
