Nora’s POV

My stomach somersaulted as I looked into the eyes of Alpha George. He was sitting in his car, smirking at me like he had just won a prize. Jack was next to him, but he looked nervous and uncomfortable. They were both staring at me like they had seen a ghost, and I hated it.

“Get in, Little Bird,” George said, opening the door and gesturing for me to enter. There was no extra seat in the front, but he didn’t care. He was ready to kick Jack out and make him sit in the back. A peculiar twist knotted my stomach, and I ignored his invitation.

The muscles in his face flexed and tightened. “…How did you manage to escape from Thomas? And what are you doing in the street? Did you go to my packhouse to look for me?” He bombarded me with questions.

A chuckle floated from my belly. “How did I get out of Thomas’s clutches?” I repeated his question, confused and frustrated. “What am I doing in the middle of the road?” I spat out his words, feeling a metaphorical fist punch me in the

Nora’s POV The door opened, and someone walked in. I turned my head, hoping and longing to see Alpha George. But it wasn’t him. It was—it was Leo. He scanned the room with a puzzled expression, then locked eyes with Alpha Rick. “Hey, Rick, what are you doing here?” Leo smirked. “Are you trying to steal George’s new girlfriend too?” “I am not—” I tried to shout that I wasn’t George’s girlfriend and that I was just here due to circumstances, but no one paid attention to me. Rick snorted and said, “Don’t be ridiculous, brother. I was just here to see Dr. Laura. Besides, Alicia is still the one I want, but she is too stupid to see that an alpha like me is the best option for her and that George will never take her back.” A snarky grin spread over his lips. “Although George and I don’t get along that much, I know how much he hates cheating and will never forgive her.” My stomach rumbled, perhaps that was the reason he called off the engagement, but I couldn’t help but wonder who she c

Nora’s POV The towel wrapped around my wet hair felt heavy and damp. I stared at the mirror, examining the bruises and scratches that covered my body. They were living marks of the hell I went through because of Thomas. A knock on the bathroom door startled me. I opened it, hoping to see George with my sons. Instead, I saw Dr. Laura. She smiled like a crocodile and handed me a set of blue pajamas. “Here, put these on. They are clean and comfortable, I am sure they are your size," she said. The sight of the pajamas made me feel uneasy. I had been wearing a pink pajama for days, and now she was giving me another fucking one. “Um, thanks,” I mumbled, taking the pajamas from her. The skin between my eyes crinkled as I stared at her. “How long is he going to take to bring my sons to me? It’s been hours, for fuck’s sake.” She sighed and looked at me with pity in her eyes. “There is nothing to worry about, your sons are safe with him, he is their father, after all, not a monster.” “The

Alicia curled her lips up like a dog about to growl. “You are my problem, Nora!” Alicia snapped, pointing a finger at her. "You have always been my problem, ever since you agreed to be my surrogate nine years ago. You think I don't know what you are up to? Huh?” Alicia shook her head. “…I know you are here to take my place, and you have been seducing my husband for years, you are so fucking obsessed with me that you want my life and everything I have, you want my husband and also my twins, don’t you?” She spat the words out with venom, her voice rising with each accusation. Nora laughed, a cold and bitter sound. She shook her head, and rolled her eyes. "I think you have got it all wrong, Princess. I know George is not your husband yet and trust me, I don’t want him, I don’t even love him. He is nothing t

Author’s POV Mrs. Williams clenched her teeth as she yanked the bowl of ice cream from the boy’s grasp. He was a scrawny little thing, with messy dark hair and a smug grin on his face. He had sneaked into her kitchen and helped himself to her favorite dessert, leaving a trail of sticky evidence all over the place. The skin between her eyes crinkled as she glared at him. “Who are you, little boy? What are you doing in my kitchen this early in the morning? Are you a thief?” “I’m not a thief, you old lady!” The boy retorted, pulling the bowl back with surprising strength. His gray eyes sparkled with mischief and defiance. “And you shouldn’t get so worked up over a bowl of ice cream. It’s not like you are a kid and you are already fat enough!” Anger flared hot and sudden at his insults, and a gasp left her lips. How dare this brat insult her like that? She raised her hand to slap him, but before she could, the sounds of footsteps filled her ears. She turned and saw a group of people

I looked everywhere for you, I was about to ask the guards to go look for you.” She pursed her lips and refused to answer him, instead, she fixed her gaze on George and asked in a curious voice, “Huh, the woman with the twins. Hmm, was she the surrogate Alicia hired years ago? And are those children really my grandkids?” George clenched his jaw and answered with a straight face. “Yes, they are. And like I said in the meeting, she is not here because she is just a surrogate. She is my true mate, whom the moon goddess has chosen for me, and I want to marry her. If you give me your blessing, I will right away.” Mr. Williams snorted. He looked at George with contempt and disbelief. “Don’t be ridiculous, George. George’s POV I took a deep breath and told him everything. From how I was no longer the alpha to how they didn’t want me to marry the woman of my dreams. The alpha listened to me with a shocked and sympathetic expression on his face. He shook his head, took a drag of his cigarette, and let it out in the air. “Wow…that’s rough. I’m sorry to hear that. I can’t believe your parents turned their backs on you and took your brother’s side. As far as I know, you are the best alpha for the Darkfire pack, your brother wouldn’t last there for a month, I promise you that.” The alpha remarked. I couldn’t tell if he was lying because I barely even knew him. And I don’t want to know him I just want him to help me out. “Thank you for saying that, it means a lot to me. So, will you help me? Will you join me in my fight against my brother?” I questioned, feeling my heart pound against my ribs like a hammer. He nodded and handed the cigarette butt to the she-wolf standing next to him. “Of course, m

George’s POV There was a small canoe in the middle of the lake, surrounded by light lamps that floated on the water. The lamps cast a soft glow on the surface, creating a romantic and magical atmosphere. It was beautiful. “Oh my god,” Her mouth dropped open, but she quickly recovered and put on a cold face. “Did you bring me here to show me this? What is this supposed to mean?” She questioned, her voice harsh and defensive. “I brought you here because of this…” My heart instantly squeezed at the sound of my voice, which grew increasingly panicked with each message. I went down on one knee and took out the ring box from my pocket. I opened it and revealed the six-carat brilliant ring. My cheeks warmed when I looked up at her and said the words I had been rehearsing in my head for weeks. “Nora, I know we had a rocky start, and I was a total jerk to you, if I were you, I would never talk to me again. I must admit, I never thought of looking for you after all these years because you r

Nora’s POV George’s proposal left me cold. I walked away from him, contempt burning in my chest. A tightness formed in my chest and spread until it choked me with the memories best left forgotten. How dare he ask me to marry him? After all he put me through in the past and treated me like a slut. I don’t give a damn what Alicia has to say to him, they both deserve each other. The garden was my destination, and the safety of my sons was the only reason I stayed in this pack. But I still need to get them out of here as soon as possible, before they are taken away from me. A guard was talking to Jack when I turned the corner. He saw me and dismissed the guard. He walked towards me with a concerned look on his face. "Um, what are you doing here? Aren’t you supposed to be with George?” He inquired, his voice low. “Why should I be with him? Oh, I almost forgot that you are his beta. • THE ALPHA'S REJECTED TWINS   CH. 150 THE WEDDING

AUTHOR’S POV A year later, A year had passed since Nora lost Leo, bringing her to this moment, seated in the dressing room, staring at herself in a wedding dress. Mrs. Williams, who had once been a wicked mother, now stood before her, offering jewels as tokens of acceptance and regret. The nightstand was filled with daily gifts from her and her husband, each one a silent plea for forgiveness. Nora’s gaze lingered on the jewels, her voice soft but strong. “I cannot accept these anymore,” she remarked. “Like I said before, I have already forgiven you a long time ago. These gifts aren’t necessary.” Regret formed a jagged rock in Mrs. Williams's stomach, and emotion flickered across her face. “These gifts are my punishment,” she declared. “I did a lot of awful things in the past, and I forgot that love doesn’t care about social status. The moon goddess herself would agree to that; that is why she made you my son’s mate. And no one is more suited for him than you.” The knock at the do

AUTHOR’S POV The dark hall was covered in shadows and sorrow, a sea of black clothing as mourners gathered to pay their final respects. Nora stood by Leo’s grave, her hand trembling as she placed a lily on top of the polished wood of his coffin. Leo’s parents, their faces covered with grief, stood beside her, each adding their own floral tribute. Nora turned to them, but her eyes pointed at the ground, the guilt still weighing on her. She dropped to her knees and whispered, “I’m the reason your son is gone. I took him away from you. If he hadn’t saved me, he would still be here.” But Leo’s parents would hear none of it. His mother lifted Nora gently, her voice soft yet firm. “No, honey. It was not your doing. It was the will of the moon goddess, and our son chose to save you.” His father added, “You must live for him now. Make his sacrifice meaningful.” A smile lit up his broad face, softening his harsh features. Overwhelmed by their kindness, Nora felt a tear streak down her fac

AUTHOR’S POV The afternoon sun streamed through the open windows, brightening the inside of the lab. Nora sat on the makeshift bed of clothes, her stomach growling in protest as she awaited George’s return with food. Jack busied himself with the windows, letting in light to compensate for the lack of electricity. Nora’s voice broke the silence. “Jack, where did you and George disappear to for all those months? And why did you guys make everyone think you were dead?” A masculine chuckle escaped his lungs. “We didn’t fake our deaths, Nora.” He said, shaking his head. “It was a bizarre twist of fate. We were attacked on our way out of the pack, and now that I think about it, the attacker was probably Dante.” Her mind raced through a thousand questions and possibilities. “That does make sense. Dante would want George out of the way to make kidnapping the kids easier. He must have seen him as a threat.” She muttered and frowned a little. “I still can’t believe George left the pack behi

But the cold was relentless, and soon the heat that followed was just as unbearable. Discomfort climbed up her spine, and heat scorched her skin. “I know you have a boyfriend, but we are in our heat period, and he is not here. You will have to ask your mate for help.” Ariana suggested in her head. “How can you suggest such a thing? If I ask him for help, he will have to have sex with me. And I can’t... I am with Leo now, and I can’t cheat on him,” she replied, with emotion roughing the syllables. “I know you don’t want to cheat on him. But this is a matter of life and death, you will die if you don’t let him help.” Ariana said in a sad tone. “I…I can’t. I just can’t. I know how much it hurts to be cheated on, I have been there a f

AUTHOR’S POV The day dawned crisp and clear as the sun poured through the streets. Alicia stormed into the grocery store, her presence as chilling as the ski mask that covered her face. The assault rifle in her grip was not just a weapon, but a representation of her desire to kill. “Put your hands where I can see them,” she hissed at the store owner, who obeyed with a tremble. “Please don’t kill me, I just opened, I haven’t earned any money!” He pleaded, but his plea for mercy fell on deaf ears. A cold laugh escaped Alicia’s throat and echoed in the cramped space. “I don’t want your money, old man, I just need to grab some supplies.” She replied and obtained a coil of rope from one of the shelves. She kept the man caged in the sights of her rifle as she closed the distance. “Stay here and don’t make a sound, if you try to act smart, I will have no option but to kill you,” she threatened as she used the rope to tie his hands behind him, securing him to the shelf like a display of h

AUTHOR’S POV In the dimly lit villa, Mrs. Williams’s entrance was as fast as lightning, her flip-flops discarded as she stopped at the sight of her husband. Mr. Wiliams sat rooted on the couch, a sea of documents spread before him on the table. Her eyebrows shot to the ceiling as she leaned over the papers. “W-What are you doing?” she inquired. Mr. Williams looked up, a dark smile playing on his lips, shadowed by the room’s gloom. “These are petitions I gathered from the pack members. I’m securing our son’s legacy; I am no longer turning my back on him,” he replied, sincere regret laced in his voice as he looked her in the eyes. “I shouldn’t have... I shouldn’t have supported the council. Rick must be Alpha again. I cannot let our line fade; after all, I went through it to keep it in our family.” She shook her head, her hand darting out to seize the document from his grasp. “Stop this madness,” she begged, her voice rising. “You are losing yourself in this grief. Guards hustled across the yard, their faces covered with concern, while the urgent wail of alarms pierced the air. He watched closely as two guards emerged, dragging a protesting couple out of the prison’s grand gates. “Come back another time! Visiting hours are over!” One guard barked, tossing the woman’s bag to her feet with a dismissive flick of his wrist. The woman, her face painted with frustration and desperation, clutched her bag tightly. “Why are you being so unfair? Visiting hours end at 10 p.m., and it’s only 7 p.m.,” she pleaded, her voice cracking. “I haven’t seen my niece in ages! AUTHOR’S POV The morning sun hit George’s face, and his heart was heavy as he paced through the studio. His hands carefully placed his personal items into a mini bag. The walls of the rooms whispered memories of laughter and learning, and though he was firm in his decision, a part of him mourned the awaiting goodbye to the children he had come to adore. The sound of footsteps snapped him back to reality. He peeked outside his room to see his boss walking purposefully towards the office. He took a deep breath and secured the zipper on his bag. A pit formed in his stomach as he grasped the resignation letter that lay on the nightstand. George entered his boss's office just in time to overhear a phone conversation about him. “Like I said earlier, it’s unprofessional for a teacher to date a parent of the kid he teaches.” His boss said in a serious tone. “I’m sorry, but no amount of money can make me help you. I respect the privacy of my teachers and stay out of their personal lives."

  • THE ALPHA'S REJECTED TWINS   CH. 142 THE SHOWER

AUTHOR’S POV They stepped into the shower area, and the sounds of bare feet stepping on the tile were getting louder and louder as they made it under one of the shower heads. The shower area itself was just a single room, blocked by a small door. There was no cover between the five or six showers, so they both had plenty of space to mess around and get each other clean. The whole shower room was tiled, so the two would have to try hard not to fall over because of how slippery everything was. “I have always wanted to do this with someone, but I haven’t had a proper girlfriend in a long time.” His voice was silky as velvet. The guard pushed Alicia against the cold tiled wall, his body squishing up against hers. Her nipples were hard and almost carved into his chest, but he didn't care. Her breasts squeezed and contoured around his chest as they both continued kissing. Their legs were moving constantly, trying to find a good footing, before eventually finding a good rhythm.
