CHAPTER 52

I was too dumbfounded by that whole meeting that I didn't say a word the whole way back to the packhouse. I was confused and grateful and a little emotional about it. But when we got home all I could feel was relief.

I got out of the car and I stood there staring at the packhouse like a huge weight had been lifted off of my shoulders. I felt completely free. There was no one coming after us, at least no one that we knew about, and I felt like this was really the beginning of a new chapter for us.

That we could actually start our lives finally. As a family. Together. And that no one was standing in the way of that happening.

Asher was about to walk up the stairs when he saw me and he walked back over to me and he cupped my face in his hands.

" Are you alright?" He asked.

" I actually feel, great. I feel free." I say. And he smiled at me before he leaned down and kissed me.

" We are free. Now, how about we go in and see about trying for another baby?" He asked smirking at me

    I watched in silent amazement watching the pitch black wolf and the white wolf run off into the woods together, towards the sounds of people running towards us. I couldn't sit back.     I woke up the next morning in the same suite of that hotel but in the spare bedroom and I looked around confused at first. But then I started remembering the events of last night. Everything that I was told. About my family, about my old pack, what my mother had done. And that I was with Ivy and Asher Silverton. I think that last part is the one that I couldn't get my head around. I got out of bed slowly and walked towards the door and into the suite and I saw Asher sitting at the table reading something on his phone. " Hi. I hope you're hungry. I ordered extra room service. I wasn't sure what you liked to eat." Asher says putting his phone down. " I like anything really." I say and I go to sit down at the table. I look around and realize that we're in this suite completely alone. " Ivy's gone on her morning jog. She does it every morning." Asher says without me needing to ask. I guess I looked a little uncomfortable sitting here alone with him. " What time is it?" I asked.

    We were stopped in the middle of the highway with three vampires on the road blocking our path and we saw more figures emerging from the woods surrounding us. And we weren't planning on going anywhere. Asher and Ivy both got out of the car casually and looked at the men in front of them and the ones around us. They didn't seem fazed by these vampires at all. I couldn't believe it. How could they just be standing there so calm. The vampires starting closing in and then there was a thunderous growl from all around us, in synchronicity and wolves started emerging from the woods behind the vampires.     When we landed at the airport we had to get into more cars that were waiting for us but it was just a short drive to the Blue Moon Pack. I heard that's what they called themselves. " Oh my god. I knew that you owned a large pack, But I never imagined it would be anything like this." Noah says looking out the window. We saw people around everywhere. The town was bigger than his pack town.     It only took about half an hour to run to the house while in wolf form because we cut through the woods and we were really fast. It was fun running in wolf form though. I loved it.
