Harriet's POV

"Dad, what are you insinuating? I don’t think there should be a problem with me hanging out with him. He’s my friend and you know there’s nothing that stops us from talking to each other very often. I do not think that because I'm engaged to one guy I shouldn't have a male friend," I said with a frown.

I know this must be the words of Raymond. He must have come to my father to say all sorts of things.

"C'mon Harriet. I didn't mean it that way," my father said.

"Dad, I must say cling is a strong word to use. I prefer a more plain and simple friendship. I don’t think you should be bothered about that or is there any problem with me being friendly with him? I am just very fond of him and he’s fun so I like spending time with him.” I said genuinely because that was exactly what Tyler and I had.

It was just friendship, maybe a little more if I don't want to lie to myself. I actually like him because he was friendly and nice and the type of friends I needed. Moreov
