Harriet’s POV

My dad called me today and I must say I was really curious to know what he had to talk to me about because it sounded serious. I had just finished a meeting with some of our investors which came from another region. I was quite happy that they saw reasons to help us expand our business.

I was supposed to meet up with him earlier but I had something to deal with so I just decided to send my Beta to help me tell him that I was going to make time to come see him after dinner. I would use that opportunity to tell him that we got the contract for the eastern region.

“Have you delivered my message to father?” I asked my Beta as soon as I saw her walk up to me.

“Yes I did and he said no problem with that but you should at least try a little so you would be able to meet up with the time you promised you would come.” She said, making a slight bow.
