Harriet's POV

"I do not think that what Mr Greg did is right. Everyone has the right to do what they want. It's not the best for him to marry his daughter. His daughter is beautiful and can get any man she wants," I said.

"Maybe he wants her for an Alpha. You know that's the only thing Greg doesn't have."

I reasoned with my father. That man must be power thirsty.

“Dad, can you help me with something?” I made sure that my face looked a bit disturbed. I know my dad doesn't like to see me sad. He looked at me and dropped the paper he held and became serious.

“Don't be sad, you know I would surely help you, if it is something in my capability. You’re my daughter so helping you is my responsibility. Just tell me what you want.” He said with a comforting smile and I felt safe to tell him what exactly was happening.

"I really cared about Tyler and I wanted to make sure things were okay with him by helping my friend, dad," I said all in one breath as I managed to take a deep breath
