CHAPTER 59: WHERE IS LAURA

I got done speaking to Alpha Newton and had to address the dignitaries from Alpha King Leonard when I mindlinked my Beta Jared to know about the situation of things.

Jared told me everything was fine and I was pleased with it.

I strolled back and got back to my sitting position but Laura was not there. I asked the guards where she was and some said she went to the restroom.

I waited and had some drinks to myself. I waited and waited and Laura was not back yet.

I called one of the female omegas and asked her to check the restroom for Laura's presence.

The first person I sent said there was no one there. Three more reported the very same thing.

I gulped the last liquid from my cup and dropped it as I stood up and went to have an examination on my own.

Sometimes these omegas get unserious with their duties and don’t look around well enough.

I got into the restroom, scanned through every section and I found no trace of her.
