CHAPTER FIVE

"I said where she is she, didn't I say all unmated females be brought in front of me" he growled, his eyes already turning a guttural black showing his Lycan side.

"Y..yes, Alpha but...but the only girl remaining is just an Omega, not fit for your presence." Alpha Maxine stuttered as he tried to explain.

"You have no right to decide that, now take me to her" he demanded.

His brother followed him as they went to the kitchen, there was a door, he pushed it open.

He was frozen solid, his hands hung in the air as he stared at the girl. Then he smelled it, he heard it. 

MATE!

His wolf was prowling under his skin, restless as they had finally found her. She smelled like vanilla and cake, so delicious and he loved cakes. The girl was still seated on the floor, staring at them with wide eyes, when he unconsciously said, 

"MATE!"

 The girl froze immediately, then was dragged from the room by the couple. He was screwed. Badly.

The door was suddenly opened and I was dragged harshly and thrust in front of everyone.

"Alpha, we are very sorry, this is why we had to keep her here, she is really very unstable and not suitable to be in your presence" my father told him quickly.

My heart froze as I heard the word "Alpha", did I just fly on top of the Alpha King, Oh shit. I'm going to die, I know it, if he is as ruthless as they say he is then my life is doomed. But I didn't get to see his face, too bad, I would like to see his face before I die. So I took a deep breath and as discreet as I could I raised my head to stare into the most beautiful face I have ever seen, even more beautiful than Chase. His eyes were purple reminding me of the rainbow, his face was so chiseled and dreamy and beautiful, and his hair, Wow, his hair was blonde and looked so soft that I wondered what it would feel like to run my hands through them. His lips were so plump, many would call them kissable lips but yeah, that's what they were. My eyes strayed back to his eyes and strangely they were completely black, both the iris and pupil, that was really scary. That's when it dawned on me, he was actually staring back at me, with a squeal, I hurriedly dropped my face down. I'm in so much shit, but...my brain reasoned, at least we know what he looks like. I agreed.

"Who is she ?" I heard his gruff voice and I couldn't help but shiver, his voice felt like a million hands running through your body.

"Well...well she is..."

"Who is she?" he asked again, my heart was beating so loud.

"She is.."

"I'm just a servant, Alpha." I just had to answer, because I knew it was hard for them to tell him that I was their daughter.

"Rise" I heard him say and I did.

"Alpha, you don't have to trouble yourself with someone like her, I can deal with her myself." My father said, in my heart I didn't want my father to punish me, I wanted to be punished by him. That sounds weird the way I said it.

"Did I ask you for an input?" He thundered at my father who whimpered a little, even I almost fell to the ground but I held myself.

"Good, then keep quiet and let the Alpha speak" 

That was another voice, I took a peak and Men! Do Lycans always look this good. He had the same height as the Alpha, and they are tall, same hair color, but different eye color. This has to be the half blood Lycan brother, although he wasn't as buff and handsome as the Alpha King. Just saying.

"Look into my eyes". He ordered, 

I shuddered, there was no way I'm doing that. So I shook my head, earning a collective gasp from everyone around me. Then he came closer until he was standing chest to breast in front of me, I could smell his scent, like rain and cookies and I love cookies. Strange I can scent him like this, its like my wolf is getting recess. What is happening.

"You do know that you are my mate, right?" He dropped the bombshell making everyone gasp, even me. 

This was crazy right, it was a joke. That's when I raised my face to look at him, his eyes were still black, what's up with that. I felt the urge to take my eyes down but I had to listen to what he was saying while staring into his eyes. He seemed surprised that I wasn't backing down. There was no way I was going to fall for this, not anymore.

"I don't think so Alpha."

"But I think you do" he answered me.

"Alpha, you can't have an Omega as your mate, she is absolutely useless and a trash." My sister said quickly, I didn't flinched neither did he make a move at her words.

"Yes, Alpha, you can't have someone like her." My mother chorused.

"The goddess told me someone will be given to me to help me, but I can't help but be really disappointed in her choice" he said angrily.

"I'm sorry Alpha, I think that the goddess must have made a mistake because I don't feel anything" I told him, because I wasn't really feeling anything, just restlessness. 

"If I were to accept you, what would you do?" He questioned

"Then I would refuse, because I know that someone like me is not fit to be anyone's mate" I answered, because I was no longer scared, I knew he wouldn't hurt me. Something flashed in his eyes but it disappeared quickly so I didn't have the chance to see it.

"But..." I continued, "I would like you to take me as your servant, please." There was no fear in my voice, I wanted to leave this place.

"Are you speaking nonsense, how dare you" my father roasted at me.

"But I have no use for you, I have enough servants at my beck and call, " he taunted.

 "Still take me, I will do anything." I pleaded with my head down.

"I will take her brother" my head whipped to see Damien looking at me with curiosity in his eyes, he came closer to his brother.

"I wouldn't mind having her as a personal maid to me" he spoke softly, what was his game. Alpha Lucien looked at him and at me for a while, then he nodded.

"As you wish, she is your maid, she can't be my Luna" he told him, but inside me I was hurt that he didn't want to keep me and it hurt really bad, but no. I want to be strong and I will not show weakness or pain. Rejection is a normal thing to me, but as long as I was leaving here, I'm okay. As I stared at Alpha Lucien's face, he looked angry, I don't know if it was at me or his brother,

but he didn't stop clenching his fist.
