I was the one who offered that we drink before we go to bed because strangely, I was hoping drinking together would make her less grumpy since she seemed like she was in a bad mood. I didn’t know why I noticed or why I even cared but I felt like I was the reason why she seemed so moody and I wanted to help. I really didn’t know why but I found myself wanting to. YARA’S POVI was ready to leave for the company along with Alpha Denver and Cillian as usual and I chose to not have breakfast that morning because I wasn’t in the mood to. I went downstairs and everyone was ready… including the guards that always followed closely behind Alpha Denver’s car all the time in a separate car of their own for security. I walked down the stairs that led to the entrance of the palace and I stopped right at the foot of the stairs when my eyes fell on Alpha Denver and I saw he was watching me too. He looked like he was waiting for me to get into the car with him. Well, that wasn’t happening. I tore my gaze from him and I walked towards the car with the guards. They all fell silent once they saw me and I forced a smile on my face because they were my only chance of going to the company without getting in the same car with Alpha Denver. I really didn’t want to be in such an enclosed space with him.“Good morning guys. You still got space for one in your car?”
