She was used to the cold welcome the lush walls of her home welcomed her with, she was used to its emptiness the interior graced her feet with when she walked in. The warm feel of the air caressing her skin. She was used to it all. But today, All of it pricked her skin, pouring a solemn feeling all over her.

Benny wasn't waiting by the door as usual and she found it odd. The cool air emitting from the air conditioner grazed her skin as usual, she pulled off her shoes, slipping her feet into a pair of fuzzy flip flops, upon raising her face up to see through the empty exuberant house, she stilled. Her frozen eyes drilled into the one person who happened to be a lady seated on a plush couch with legs crossed and eyes skimming a magazine.
