Being a single mother was not an easy task, Daniella complained. Paloma suggested hiring a nanny for AJ but she insisted on taking care of her daughter personally. Call it insecurities or whatever, but she didn’t want AJ to be accustomed to a nanny. During the daytime, AJ and Vanessa usually played outside and watched chuchu tv after. When the toddlers were busy, the mothers were free to gossip about men.

“Will your husband come home before AJ’s first birthday?” Paloma inquired while they watched the kids playing outside.

Daniella was caught off guard by Paloma’s question. She should have informed her stepmother about the annulment but completely forgot about it. It was only Lilian who knew the truth about her and Marcus. “I’m not sure Ma, but I hope he can come.” She answered and Lilian cleared her throat while listening to their conversation.
