Marcus regretted following Alicia into the rain because the woman assumed that he was interested in her, and she dropped intriguing stories to the farm workers. Some believed that they were in a relationship. If only he knew the outcome of his action, he shouldn’t have let his heroic side save that woman. Marcus sighed as he concluded that women of any sort would only bring troubles into his life. Just like Daniella, he remembered the woman who still visited him in his dreams.
