Chapter 32: The Pain of the Past

Sira worked with vigor, even more vigor than usual. That made chef Brian look at Sira silently and shake his head.

“The source of youthful vigor is unpredictable.” Chef Brian continued his work, which was interrupted when he suddenly heard Sira humming. It was something Chef Brian rarely heard, if ever.

“I hope Sira is really happy,” said Chef Brian, still staring at Sira who was still busy with the accumulated dishes.

Chef Brian stopped observing Sira, because the orders were increasing and automatically the visitors had arrived. But that didn't make Sira tired. She felt just the opposite, energized many times over. Moreover, several times the image of Damian's perfect face flashed in her mind and made Sira's face instantly heat up.

“Stop Sira. You're expecting too much,” Sira said patting her cheek trying to regain her senses.

Chef Brian heard Sira's self-talk. He then shook his head again, smiling slightly at Sira who suddenly hit him in the face.

“Looks like that girl is in love.
